Yeah, who wants to see exciting matches, compelling angles, funny segments, a strong tag division, great production values, a strong media presence and titles that have at least a modicum of meaning in TNA anyway?

Yeah...that phrase isn't gonna cut it for current day TNA. But hey, at least they have those cameramen.

TNA is so far removed from what pro wrestling should be (and what WWE is) that you may as well say "Well, at least it's not Campbell's Chicken Noodle Soup" and it would have the same amount of meaning.

If by exciting matches you mean basic, bland, and tedious matches. If by compelling angles you mean angles that have been done before (and better) with disappointing resolutions. If by funny you mean 'forced' segments. Tag division is strong at the moment, I'll give you that. If by great production values you mean soulless TV shows with bad camera work. If you by strong media presence you mean a soulless company trying too hard to be accepted in the mainstream, and titles that have meaning (I guess, I don't really care or know who the champions are in WWE), then yes, WWE has it all. TNA is just better than the WWE to me by a wide margin.

Being dead serious here, have you tried to watch ROH or any other indie company? If you are really looking for an alternative, you don't have to settle for TNA. There are better options out there. Alternatives that are actually GOOD. ROH posts their TV show on their website for free. Hell, check out some NJPW on youtube.

But that would I'd have to look on a website and not just have it given to me the exact same way it has been for the last god knows how many years. Not possible. Just kidding. I'm an indy guy myself. And, yes. I agree. Right now, I would rather watch TNA. It has more characters I like, more talent that I enjoy, putting on matches that I find more exciting. So there.

From the way the OP put it, it sounds like he wasn't even really enjoying TNA, he just watched because it wasn't as bad as WWE. If you like TNA, more power to you.

Ugh, why did you have to make this thread...it just creates this divide. A stupid divide between wrestling fans.

The E.G.O Hall of Fame induction of Bobby Roode and the Aces and Eights funeral were two of the best comedy segments this year from either company. Compelling angles is completely subjective along with the titles actually meaning something. They have history behind them but those titles aren't really treated as anything special either. There's long stretches of time where nothing happens with the titles at all and people just hold on to their belts like Ambrose. Goes both ways with TNA too and other companies like Matt Taven's ROH TV title reign. Strong media presence has nothing to do with the quality of the shows.

Ugh, why did you have to make this thread...it just creates this divide. A stupid divide between wrestling fans. Because people still hold the mentality that was accepted during the Monday Night Wars Era that you can only be fans of only 1 wrestling organization. TNA does things I like. They do things I hate. Same for WWE, NJPW, ROH, CZW, and many others.

Same for WWE, NJPW, ROH, CZW, and many others. Yeah I feel the same way. I enjoy TNA, WWE, Stardom, CZW, Shimmer, etc. I don't watch everything but usually out of the ones I watch I can find something I like, when one company is kinda "Meh" at the moment I'll focus on others and then come back to them when I can. The Us vs. Them mentality sucks. Whether it be WWE vs. TNA, Mainstream vs. Indies, or whatever. Every company has good and bad qualities.

It's still better then WWE IMO. Not really. WWE have better matches every week. WCW at its worst was not even as bad as current TNA.

We haven't been able to get indy shows on TV in the UK since TWCFight went downhill in 2007 and switched to MMA.

This should be a given for any wrestling company. Wwe isn't exactly setting a high standard. This is something cheap to fall back on. It's like saying "I stabbed you, but at least I didn't shoot you in the face, like that guy over there did!"
