My Great Grandma died on the 20th at the age 102, she'd been in hospice care for 10 years. It's not immediately the end, she's just somewhere that can look after her better.

Though it's at times like this that I remember that under that exterior of business cruelty and blowhardy showmanship, Vince McMahon is probably paying most of if not all the bills associated with this, and will do his damnedest to see that her passing is as peaceful & dignified as humanly possible and that she's honored for everything she did in life when she's gone....

As we were informed when my Great Grandmother passed two months ago, Hospice Care is provided to a patient who is terminal and getting progressively worse; there is no reason to expect a recovery and they are in discomfort. Hospice workers will set up the patient with the medications needed to ensure the patient is comfortable. They make no attempt at resuscitation and offer no treatment beyond pain management.

Prayers to Mae Young. I hope this is a mistake and they mean outpatient care. Hospice, as has been said, is for terminal patients. I thought that hospice is something that usually has to be planned in advanced, whereas article made it seem like all was well until last week.
