Well hospices imply two things. Cancer, and it being terminal.

Moving to hospice generally means the end is very nigh. A shame, she was an entertaining old gal.

Well hospices imply two things. Cancer, and it being terminal. Hospice is not just for cancer victims. If you have very serious illnesses and conditions where doctors don't think you have much time left and want to make you comfortable before the end. My brother did outpatient with a Hospice nurse coming by to see him twice a week for a year.

Yeah, Hospice. There might not be much time left. My grandpa died after 3 weeks of being in one.

Hospice is explicitly for terminal patients, very sad news. "With practices largely defined by the Medicare system, a social insurance program in the United States, and other health insurance providers, hospice care is made available in the United States to patients of any age with any terminal prognosis who are medically certified to have less than six months to live" - Wikipedia entry for Hospice, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hospice_care_in_the_United_States

But hospice is generally bad news and it's likely the end of the road for Mae. Thanks for some of the memories Mae... and for the horrific mental scarring... I guess...

Yeah, Mom was in hospice care the last month before she passed. This doesn't look good at all.

Sad to hear. I guess that's one name to cross off the Old School RAW list, I wanted to see her interact with the Divas with Total Divas being a thing now.

Sad news to wake up to this morning. She was entertaining, even with the craziness that WWE threw her way the last decade.

She's had a good innings at least. The oldest surviving wrestler (though only by five days), and the oldest wrestler to ever compete, at the age of 85.
