I....just... Am I nuts in being completely uninterested in Lesnar vs. Batista? You're not. I think it'd be a nice match, but I can think of plenty of higher-priority matches that I'd rather see out of both guys. If they want to do Batista/Lesnar, I'd be inclined to book it for Summerslam and have it be Dave's final match before he leaves to go promote Guardians of the Galaxy.

Serious question:
Is 'Taker in good enough shape for Brock?
I'd imagine Brock isn't exactly the gentlest of guys in the ring (nor would it behoove him to be), and 'Taker's got a bad hip that I just can't imagine him eating an F5 for it.
Lesnar works best when it's a half-shoot, and I just can't imagine Undertaker handling that in his age and health.

Honestly, even if Taker was in his prime, I'd prefer Cena over Lesnar.

Def would rather see Cena vs Taker, but Lesnar would legit be someone you would think Taker can't beat.

At this point, Cena.
Brock/Taker in 2002 was pretty much one of my fav feuds and they had one of the best HIAC matches. But Taker's body is way too f***ed to handle Brock's offense right now.
My only problem with Cena/Taker is i can see WWE have Cena break the streak which would be bullshit.

I love that Brock now has this reputation as being dangerous in the ring.
This guy has notably injured two guys. Holly is widely believed to have sandbagged deliberately like an asshole. Albert there are rumours Brock did it on purpose, which doesn't make Lesnar sloppy or unsafe (they've wrestled since in Japan so there seem to be no hard feelings), and Brock has lifted bigger guys easily. Everyone botches sometimes.
Aside from that, who has he hurt? No one. He wrestled Hogan, Rock, Taker, top guys some of whom have been injured a lot. The Cena match was stiff as shit because it was meant to be. Brock has never taken liberties unless you believe the Albert story and he isn't clumsy. So he went into UFC, what has happened since? He didn't injure Punk or Triple H, and they just let him near Mark Henry who gets injured on a weekly basis.

Yes, the Cena match was meant to be stiff. Thing is that Brock is meant to work stiff in general because they're playing up his MMA background and they're being really meta by presenting him as being more dangerous than any other wrestler because he's "legit." The issue is that Taker may not be able to handle Brock's new "pound the shit out of you for realsies" style without getting injured.

It's not about his safety record, it's about style match-ups. The Undertaker is someone that, at this point, you probably have to handle with kid gloves in the ring. Can you really pull the "MMA badass" style of pro-wrestling on a guy who's being held together by spit and prayers?

Save Cena vs. Undertaker for his final march, which I hope is not here.

Man, can you imagine if Cena of all people is the one to break the streak and send Taker into retirement. Expect a long and ferocious night on this board.
Also I think the often smarky WM crowd would be legit pissed and ready to riot.

All of the concern over Cena actually breaking the streak is the perfect reason to do that match.
