The one and only Kevin Federline got a win over John Cena.
Man, has it been that long?

It's weird, I kept expecting that to pay off at some point.
I really thought it'd have been cool for Federline to have a run as a Raw GM whose only purpose was to annoy the shit out of Cena and shouting his victory over Cena to the heavens. Cena would finally get his win back in a one-on-one match against Federline and his entourage. After a whole bunch of shenanigans, it would end with Federline losing his GM job and Cena finally sending him packing.
What can I say? I actually like Cena when he's booked as someone people can like against someone people generally hate and I liked thinking about how the overbooked craziness of what a Cena/Federline blow-off could've been.

I marked hard for this. Funny aside from Bryan (so far) that's the only feud Cena's lost since 2004.

I was always amused hearing the reports at how Federline, the man with the picture perfect media role of douche, was actually well liked backstage because he was personable and would hang out and eat with all the boys.

I remember laughing for 20 straight minutes because this was at the height of Cena being absolutely untouchable and here's this guy, who I never heard of Mr. Brittney Spears, pinning him. The whole thing was utterly stupid and made no sense.

Just think, since this aired, every single cell in your body has regenerated, so if you haven't seen it since it aired, your body as it is now hasn't quivered with excitement over it, so it might be time to revisit it.
I got a soft spot for Federline, dude played to the crowd perfectly. Even though it's been quite some time, I wouldn't mind him returning in some capacity. He had *it*.

The whole thing was utterly stupid and made no sense. It's because the WWE see any celebrity as automatically a bigger star than any of their wrestlers so anytime a celebrity, no matter if it's a Z list celeb or not, turns up on a show they are immediately booked stronger than most of the actual wrestlers. It's stupid.
