If it's true than the Wyatt storyline would have some traction. It wouldn't surprise me since Punk got Taker last year.

I guess it'd be okay, but I'd rather see Undertaker vs Lesnar.

I would quite like to see Bryan v Undertaker, but I doubt it will happen. I am still holding out for Bryan v Triple H (this is only because I would prefer HBK to stay retired, though sure the match would be amazing if he came back), Punk v Lesnar (if no Austin or Rock, then this is the best option for the two of them in my view) Batista v Orton (both need a high profile match, though not sure how good it would be) and Cena v Undertaker (the biggest match they have yet to do at mania).
Wyatts v Shield is the only match that makes sense for the Wyatts at this stage in my view, and it would be a good way to finally break up the Shield.

Do Taker and Cena have some sort of secret hatred for eachother? I'm starting to think that Cena put Taker's hand in warm water on one of those Tribute to the Troops plane trips.

If Bryan somehow became the one to actually END the streak? He won't ever have to win the WWE Title ever again in his career. He'd be made a star permanently.

Someone else may have had this idea before me, but if Bryan vs. Undertaker happens then would the story be: {Spoiler}Undertaker was the Devil that Bray was talking about all along? The Wyatts are his new version of the ministry?

Actual quote from the Observer... I try to cut the company slack as far as the Cena hate goes, but if the end game to this Bryan/Wyatt storyline is just to build them up and pass the feud over to Cena, I'm sorry but that's f***ed up and inexcusable booking.

I actually thought this would be great during the B+ player stuff. Bryan is sick of it all, all the criticism from HHH, Randy and HBK so like someone earlier in the thread says, tries to do what none of them could do. End the Streak. However, I'd have Taker play the more heel role.
Bryan challenges Taker for weeks with no answer. Eventually Taker shows up, looks at Bryan and laughs. He refuses the challenge, saying that HHH and HBK are right. Bryan is just a B+ player and doesn't belong in a ring with the Undertaker. As Taker walks off into the sunset, Bryan strikes. Taker reverses into a Chokeslam which is reversed into a YES! Lock. Refs immediately come down, break the two up and Taker does the cut-throat gesture at Bryan, pretty much confirmed Mania is on. All-the-while you have the crowd going YES! YES! YES!. Come Wrestlemania, Bryan and Taker have a five star match, Bryan gets ridiculously close to making Taker tap (perhaps multiple times) but ultimately Taker wins. The match ends with Taker shaking hands with Bryan and leaves Bryan in the ring to soak up the applause. Bryan becomes a, if not the, top guy that night.
The new possible way would be fine though.

I don't think the idea is that bad. You use Bryan and the Wyatts as a brief transitional feud that shows Bryan can actually come out on top, and then Bryan moves on to his big WM thing and Wyatt's newly elevated status gives him an upper-midcard match with Cena.

This is how I think NEWZ Stories are written.
Vince McMahon: Hey Undertaker got a second? Undertaker: Yeah boss whats up. Vince McMahon: It's about Wrestlemania, are you okay in the possibility of facing Brock Lesnar this year at Wrestlemania? Undertaker: Yeah sure that sounds great but boy isn't that Daniel Bryan kid great? Vince McMahon: Yeah he is. Undertaker: Yeah working with him in that tag team match earlier this year made me realize the kid is the real deal, truly one hell of a talent. Boy I would love to face him in a Wrestlemania match in the future or maybe this year? *laughs* Vince McMahon: *laughs* Yeah we will see what happens as you know plans do change.
*Backstage Source overhears conversation*
Backstage Source: OMFG UNDERTAKER DEMANDS DANIEL BRYAN!!!!!

I think it would be a great match, and it would certainly do a lot to smash him over in a big way, but I still don't understand how a storyline that started with Cena granting Bryan a title shot at Summerslam and all the Authority/Wyatt Family shenanigans in-between culminates with a match against the Undertaker.*
*Barring the idea in this thread, which I like, with Bryan basically saying "f*** you, I'm going to beat the Undertaker at Wrestlemania to prove that I'm more than a B+ player."

Punk and Randy Orton vs. Batista. And Bryan's name isn't anywhere to be seen.

Agreed. Never mind the constant need to have new dragons for Cena to slay, Cena/Wyatt sounds like a rotten match.

Honestly, with no mention of Bryan on the sheets that report this and the seemingly random and underwhelming match-up of Bray/Cena, I feel like this is a trick WWE is playing so the Rumble winner is a nice surprise. I refuse to believe they would leave Bryan out of getting a major match when his name was chanted for at least half of last years Mania.

It's kind of shame that they aren't doing the Solid B+ thing now, because they could easily transition to an Undertaker Mania feud from that. Daniel Bryan, in his quest to prove he is an A+ superstar, does something that his biggest critics, Randy Orton, Triple H, and Shawn Michaels, could not do. oh i like this a lot. can you imagine how epic the Wrestlemania promo would be for that...
