If the King of Kings couldn't get the job done against the Deadman then there's no way in hell I'm buying Daniel Bryan of all people as a credible threat to The Undertaker at Wrestlemania. As much as D-Bry is beloved around here, I just can't buy him being in a Mania match against the Undertaker. He's good, but quite frankly he isn't in Taker's league. The only guys Undertaker should be wrestling at Mania are guys people could legitimately see beating him like Cena or Lesnar. I know Bryan has been on fire lately, but I wouldn't be able to take him seriously standing inside the ring with Taker at Mania. The match would be amazing and you'd get no complaints from me, but, yeah, there's no way I could suspend my disbelief to think that Bryan has any chance. Although I thought the same thing with Punk and a lot of people here believed he could end the streak.

An idea I read suggested Piper as being Bray Wyatt's "devil", which leads John Cena to bring in Hulk Hogan to counteract him at ringside. I cringe at the idea of bringing Piper back after his last showing on Raw.

Funny thing about the Punk match is that even though I knew he wouldn't have a chance, I ordered the ppv solely to see him get his ass kicked. People here bitched about his cheap heat, but he pissed me off during this angle enough where I wanted to pay money to see him get destroyed. The match far exceeded my expectations and at one point I doubted the finish. Nothing against Bryan, but I don't want to see him face Taker at Mania unless he's a douchey annoying heel like his WHC run. I just don't see that happening soon nor do I want to see Taker in matches where I know his opponent doesn't have a shot. Cena or Lesnar are the only two legitimate threats to the streak left.

I love D-Bry and I'm sure that the match would be really good, but there are better options for Taker at Mania. I find it surprising that there are people in this thread that would be fine with him ending the streak. D-Bry is awesome but no way in hell should that even be considered.

Honestly, I feel people more likely to beat Undertaker are guys who aren't in the mega main event or top guys. Guys tossed around like Roman Reigns or Daniel Bryan in this case would be more likely to beat the Undertaker because there's somewhere to go after beating The Undertaker. Especially at an event like Wrestlemania 30. Punk in recent years has been the most likely candidate, but rumours of injury kinda hurt that logic there.
I feel that Bryan should be in the title match, and a guy like Roman Reigns should be Undertaker's opponent. Brock would be a good match, but due to where Brock is within the company, it's hard to believe that he would be booked to beat The Undertaker. Brock vs Batista though would be quite the spectacle.
I guess for me, Bryan should win the WWE Title to finish his odyssey that he's gone through to get back to the top and be WWE Champion. Logically, that's where everything should go. Maybe Bryan fights Undertaker at the next year's Wrestlemania.

The problem with the streak is we've reached a point there is NO ONE that is a good candidate to end it. Guys like Cena, HHH, Orton, even Lesnar, it does nothing for them. They're already established. On the other hand, any up and comer like Bryan doesn't seem like a good candidate because they aren't viewed as having fully proved themselves and the company won't take the chance on propping up someone with that accomplishment only for it not to take off.
I have no problem with Bryan facing UT at WM, but if they do, they better bring in some of the past storyline elements such as Bryan teaming with Kane and Kane being the first victim of the Wyatts (assuming the Wyatts are even involved by that point).

Taker needs to die with The Streak, and WM30 is not the time (unless he's just ready to retire ASAP, which is of course his prerogative). Bryan shouldn't beat him there. The Cena match has to happen somewhere, plus it'd be great to see one more with him and Orton (WM21->WM31), and maybe a round with Sheamus or Roman Reigns or someone else who could use the rub. Maybe they could do Bryan/Taker at WM30, with a whole Wyatt Family vs Undertaker feud leading up to it. That way we could see Bray vs Taker on Raw or something and still have the potentially cool dynamic of Undertaker vs the creepy Wyatt Family. They dump Bryan when he fails to beat him, Bryan/Bray at Extreme Rules, Bryan climbs back up the ladder as a face and finally gets an actual WWE title run later in 2014 (hell, maybe a SummerSlam rematch with Cena). If Cena gets involved, Taker isn't going to die with the streak. Either Cena ends it then and there, or he gets all emo and starts crying about how losing to Taker is eating him up inside and how he needs to "redeem himself" the following year.
