Who would you let go?
I'd go:
Garett Bischoff Gunner Hernandez Knux Mr. Anderson
Maybe keep one of them and released Rockstar Spud instead. I stand by that Rockstar Spud just doesn't fit in TNA either as a wrestler or in his current roe. However, maybe if they mold him enough or get him to be a straight up manager he could work.

Lets assume I can't release any to go to WWE, then I won't release the likes of Angle, Sting, and Hardy.
Gunner Rob Terry King Mo
That's it really

Channeling my inner Janice Carter, any wrestler who makes 6 figures a year or is non-white and/or female is up for the chopping block. If you're willing to work for nickels, you're safe.

Are Garrett and Knux still signed? If they are I'd keep them both around as they were finally growing and getting somewhere just before they ended Aces and Eights so I think it'd be beneficial to keep them around due to their relatively young TV age.
Personally I don't think anyone really needs let go but if I HAD to I'd get rid of:
Eric Young Hernandez Wes Brisco (if still employed) Mike Tenay (if he counts) Tazz (if he counts)
If those last two don't then get rid of Rob Terry and Kenny King as both are doing nothing and, in Kenny's case, would be better served elsewhere.

If you make six figures and aren't pulling your weight, you're getting the Budget Cutter. Mr. Anderson, get thee gone. If you were hired for or kept around because of a stupid faction and haven't appeared since, you're getting the Budget Cutter. Knux, Garett, Brisco, get thee gone. Last spot's a toss-up between Rob Terry (who hasn't done a damn thing to justify his continued employment as a singles wrestler) and Hernandez (unsafe!), with an outside chance of Jeff Hardy because I'd rather take what he makes and use it to find someone just as talented who can actually work the biggest tour dates of the year.

Knux has been on national TV on and off since 2006. While there is always a chance he could still bloom I think with Knux if it was going to happen it would have happened by now. With Bischoff I think given who his father is it would give just about any offspring a sense of (undeserved) entitlement and Garrett has shown he has no problem with nepotism. That's not exactly a great thing and Garrett's not talented enough to budget for that baggage. As for your choices I can see where your coming from on just about all of them. I thought about including Eric Young too, but TNA has so few bonafied originals that they really need to take pride in them if they want to have their own identity. I wouldn't mind taking Young off screen with sporadic appearances or something though. Guy is wicked played out.

1. Eric Young (He's okay but he is stale in TNA now. They have done everything they can with him)
2. Christopher Daniels (Again, he's okay but he's done everything already. Who's he going to feud with? Joe again? Kazarian? Pass)
3. Spud (Have seen a few segments of him on YouTube and he's shit. That three way he had at Destination X was terrible as well)
4. Abyss/Joseph Parks (Nothing exciting about him at all. Joseph Parks angle needed to finish this time last year)
5. Either Kurt Angle or Sting (The reason is so they can simply sign a new big name star. If they released Angle/Sting they could probably get John Morrison, Melina and somebody else to come in for the same price)

Dixie Carter. Rockstar Spud. Gunner. Id say Garrett and Briscoe, but are they even on anymore? Spud could be used in the X division if they want to build that up but as far as who needs to up their game or be fired is Gunner Mr. Anderson Rob Terry Joe Park\Abyss Sting just because hes getting up there in years

2. Christopher Daniels (Again, he's okay but he's done everything already. Who's he going to feud with? Joe again? Kazarian? Pass)) He hasnt gotten the World Belt he deserves, unlike Sabin so he still has one more thing to do in TNA

Basically, you'd have to replace them immediately.
Wes Brisco Garett Bischoff Knux Rob Terry
And lastly, the big one I'd let go.
Samoa Joe. Joe as a draw is dead and he needs to leave, maybe to return and do something for the future. He's not the man he used to be and doesn't bring the fanfare he once did. Joe is one of the many examples of TNA having something and then screwing it up. I'm excited for this week's Review a Wai because they talk about TNA's biggest episode, the Jan. 4th 2010 episode, and likely the aftermath of that episode.
Everyone I don't even know if they're on the roster, but you need fresh faces. Cue in Chris Hero, The Killer Elite Squad of Lance Archer and Davey Boy Smith Jr, Cheerleader Melissa and Rich Swann. If Hero is unavailable, maybe someone like Rubix, Trent Barreta, Ricochet, Uhaa Nation, Jessica Havok, Athena, Mercedes Martinez, The Young Bucks. Bring Alex Shelley back in and promise New Japan you won't turn his partner Kushida into a bad lackey or stereotype. Brian Cage, Chuck Taylor, AR Fox, Willie Mack, Colt Cabana, Ivelisse, Serena Deeb, like, the list goes on and on. As a matter of fact, there's a whole wrestling world out there for TNA to explore. Now's the time, if they aren't going to go under, if WWE doesn't send Smackdown to Spike Tv, if everything works out, now's the time to get the roster to the top of the world. Now's the time to get the best of the best and say, we're TNA and the rest can f*** off.

Gunner Rockstar Spud Hernandez Garett Bischoff Wes Brisco
Although I'd release Tenay and Tazz if they counted, and maybe keep Spud and Hernandez, although I'd like to get rid of both of them too.
