Mr. Perfect, too bad it didn't last beyond the Royal Rumble, it seems. I only remember seeing him on Smackdown sometime after that. He was then gone. He had a match with Stone Cold, sadly it wasn't very good.

What really annoyed me about that match is how much the commentary team talked over it in favor of talking about the NWO instead. It was like watching a Nitro from 1997 all over again.

Not sure if I'd call it a comeback, but I was watching Royal Rumble 2011 on DVD and I was surprised by the loud pops for Diesel.

Not a long term comeback, but Marty Janetty showed up and had a fantastic TV match with Kurt Angle during Angle's feud with HBK. It was one of the best TV matches that year.

After the Man's Man stuff and being such a mess in '98, I was pretty stunned when Regal came back in 2000 and ended up being a major player.

It's Tatanka for me. He lasted basically all of 2006. Never woulda thought he'd come back for *that* long...

NWO coming to WWE was really crazy to me.
I marked out, but the story of Vince wanting to kill his own company just seemed so stupid, especially after he worked so hard to stop the Invasion. They should have just had those guys return and be Vince's lackeys that are allowed to do whatever they want instead of trying to make me believe they are trying to destroy WWE.

John Laurinaitis.
Surprised that he showed up at MITB 2011, surprised that he stuck around and was surprised at how awesome he was (and still is).

Idol Stevens (a man so bland that when his manager got injured, that he and his tag team partner were taken off TV and never mentioned again) becoming Damien Sandow.
