Based solely on the RAW segment where Umaga destroyed Steve-O and Chris Pontius, I can safely say we missed out huge when this was cancelled. Umaga seemed legitimately frustrated that Steve-O wouldn't just lay there and sell the beating. God I wish this match had happened.

It honestly had the potential to be a pretty entertaining and unique match. All of those guys are trained in stunt work and know how take some pretty vicious bumps. I can imagine that they would've had no problem getting destroyed by Umaga for 10 minutes then win with a sneak Johnny Knoxville roll up or something flukey like that.

Steve-O didn't sell because he got a minor concussion from the beatdown.

I miss Umaga!
Wrestling culture sucks and he's dead because of it.

Why did they pull out? Was it because of the Benoit thing?

I remember really, really wanting this to happen when I was 13 years old.

After Umaga finished kicking Pontius' ass, Steve-O started laughing at Pontius as he probably would on Jackass, and then Umaga kicked O's ass all over again. And I'm pretty sure it was all part of the script. Not sure why everyone seems to think Steve-O not sold stuff or anything like that.

But the second time Umaga beats Steve-O down, Steve-O keeps flopping around, begging Umaga to stop, and doing the Wayne's World "we're not worthy" hand gesture.

Why did they pull out? Was it because of the Benoit thing? Pretty much. When even the Jackass crew want no part of your industry you know you're in a sorry state.

The point is the Jackass crew is a shock industry with little class. "We'll do tequila shooters off a guys hairy ass, but the company Benoit is from? Yeah f*** that"

Weren't they originally going to do something for TNA and just went on WWE TV instead?
At any rate, where would this honestly have went? They're glorified stuntmen just like Foley WOO!

There are two dead people on that poster that really shouldn't be dead and that makes me sad.

"We'll do tequila shooters off a guys hairy ass, but the company Benoit is from? Yeah f*** that" There's a difference between doing classy things and having class.

I think the WWE actually cancelled it when Johnny Knoxville pulled out. The rest may have still been willing. This was around when Knoxville was trying to become a real mainstream celebrity, so of course he wasn't going to associate with the WWE that close to the Benoit thing.
