Oh, great, as a Colts fan, I have yet another reason to hate the Chargers. I didn't want to play against New England at 8:30 PM.

ESPN's Paul Gutierrez reports "at least" six Raiders assistants accepted one-year extensions Tuesday. Ex-Giants OC Kevin Gilbride blames Eli Manning's disastrous 2013 on the team's protection issues. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell remains "excited" about the possibility of a team permanently playing in London, but "doesn't care" if Los Angeles or London gets a team first. Rotoworld Make it so Either that or the LA Jaguars. ...which would at least lead to a really cool new logo.

Here's a fan-created concept of the Jaguars' look if they move to Los Angeles: In a city with one of the largest Mexican demographics (if not the largest) in the entire US, you'd be introducing a team custom-fit for the population. If the team was actually good, it would be a gold mine.

Hell, I thought it was very Native American-esque until my brother pointed out it was supposed to look like the Aztecs. It's a hell of a lot better than their current logo, though.

Aztecs are Native Americans, though, so there's really no problem there. Plus a lot of Mexican-Americans would get it in a hurry. Maybe it's just me, but in my time watching Mexican soccer and boxing, the term "Azteca" gets thrown a lot. The symbolism (and the idea of the Jaguar Warrior, a really popular motif in Mexican nationalist art) would not be lost on much of the target audience. It's really distinctive, easy for the target audience to understand, fits the city like a glove and is a logical use of the team name. I'd be really disappointed if the idea isn't used because whoever owns the team at that moment would be making money hand over fist.

That's an awesome logo and a great way to keep the team name and incorporate it into a new city.
But it won't be used because they'd run into copyright problems.

LA doesn't need a football team.

Josh McDaniels has withdrawn from the Browns coaching search Damn. Even the shitty candidates are turning down the Browns.

Bold playoff prediction time!
Saints @ Seahawks
The Saints are doing everything they can to prepare for what will be their toughest game this season, including painting the Seahawks' logo on their practice field. They've already proved everybody, including me, wrong by getting a win last week, and I think experience wins here as I believe the Saints will beat the Seahawks by three scores. The Seahawks are insanely talented, but they're a young team and I think they get caught by the Saints.

Obviously it won't, but I just pulled it up because I thought that was a good idea for what the logo couldlook like. I've been a fan of this general idea for a long time. There's so much money involved and it'd make more sense than 90 percent of the NFL teams. But, of course, I have to remind myself it's just the Jaguars we're talking about.

Mark my words, the Chargers will win the Super Bowl. I just think it's written in the stars for them. I personally hope they win to see the reactions.
Oh yeah put me down as a Rams fan.

Yeah, it's sad that fans sometimes come up with such good ideas, and that guarantees tha they can never be used...
