Well after the first week, the Saints, Colts and Chargers move on, which is greatly disappointing.
At least the 49ers stayed alive. Next week is going be insane.

You can throw me on the Colts list.
Damn, I'm going to Europe for a few weeks in a couple days...right during the playoff time. Thank god for DVRs and Europe's indifference to the game.

I've got to say, even though I really like our chances against San Diego and I truly do feel we'll win, anytime we face the Chargers I always get nervous. PFM is going to want revenge and I know we'll play great against them, but they seem to have our number and it'd suck to have this incredible season ruined by Rivers and the Chargers.
Who do you guys have?

Prediction time.
49ers over the Panthers
Hawks over Saints (rooting for NOLA to get the NFC Title game at the stick)
Broncos over the Chargers
Colts over the Patriots

My Unofficial "Don't-Hold-Me-To-These" Predictions for the Divisional Round:
San Francisco @ Carolina
The Niners showed me something this week, I'll give them that. But I don't see them going on the road again and winning, especially against this Panthers team.
WINNER: The Carolina Panthers
New Orleans @ Seattle
It's deja vu all over again for New Orleans. Seattle is a very scary team, and while I see this being a bit closer than their Monday Night game, I see the same result.
WINNER: The Seattle Seahawks
Indianapolis @ New England
On the one hand, Tom Brady with a week to prepare is a very scary thought. On the other, Luck's shown that he's not one to throw in the towel when the chips are down. I'm leaning slightly towards Indy on this one.
WINNER: The Indianapolis Colts
San Diego @ Denver
The Chargers have guts, I'll give them that. But Peyton Manning is probably out for blood after that shock loss against the Chargers a few weeks back. I've got Denver.
WINNER: The Denver Broncos

The 13-3 record, the Eagles home opener omen, the last 3 Superbowl winners playing in the Wild Card week, Manning being 0-2 against the Chargers in the playoffs (as a Colt). I'm hoping all those trends continue.

Seahawks over Saints - It will be closer than the previous game between these two, but I don't see the Saints winning in Seattle. They just aren't physical enough to deal with the beatings the Seahawks dish out on both sides of the ball. Niners over Panthers - This isn't the same Niners team that lost to the Panthers. Crabtree's back and he's the key for the offense. We know both teams are physical enough to take what the other can dish out. But with Crabtree being back, Kaepernick will make enough plays for the Niners to win. Patriots over Colts - I originally thought this was going to be the AFC Championship Game, and had to flip a coin. This is going to be a close game. Neither team has a huge advantage over the other. I think it comes down to the Pats having the ball at the end, and Brady leading a drive to the winning score. Chargers over Broncos - I don't want to make this pick, and I don't want it to happen. But the Chargers are on a roll, they barely got into the playoffs, they went to Cincy and won, and are a divisional rival, this game has the perfect recipe for the 13-3 Curse.

My predictions:
Seahawks will probably throttle the Saints again.
NE. Colts didn't look very good against KC and until NE is out I can't discount them.
SF is battle tested and playoff experienced and I feel that will be the difference between them and a young Panther team. Who knows how Cam will play. Probably still be a tough battle though.
I'm going with SD over Denver. I don't believe in Denver's defense at all and it seems like Peyton is due for one of his bad games where he tosses 3 or 4 picks. Will probably still be a 40+ point shootout though.

I'm a Panthers fan and that's it.
As far as predictions go, I'll take San Diego and New England in the AFC and Seattle and Carolina in the NFC

Prediction time. 49ers over the Panthers Hawks over Saints (rooting for NOLA to get the NFC Title game at the stick) Broncos over the Chargers Colts over the Patriots As a Colts fan I hope you are right. Just to make it better I would like to see San Diego over the Broncos. I know the Chargers have owned the Colts in recent times, but I don't see Denver losing at home to the Colts, not after the regular season game.

I'm a Raiders fan
While I hate the Broncos, I want them to destroy the Chargers (I'll never EVER cheer for the Chargers).
