I have been a fan of the Colts since they came to Indy.

After Chargers over Broncos, I'll say
Patriots over Colts (though I want the Colts to take it)
Seahawks over Saints
Panthers over 49ers

Eagles fan for life. As far as last night's game goes... Oh well. They really should have won that but just too many mistakes and a suck-ass kicker sent us packing. I will say I'm very optimistic for next year given the massive overachieving of this season, so far as to say that I could see the eagles be a Super Bowl contender within a year or two. So I'm not as pissed about the loss as you'd think.
Now as far as the predictions go, I'll say Seahawks, Niners (haven't seen enough of the panthers to go one way or the other but I do recall them having a pretty crappy start so they certainly have it in them to choke hard), chargers (can't defy the prophecy) and the colts. I fully expect to go 0-4, yes.

Lions fan checking in.
As far as next week, I have all the home teams winning, though I wouldn't be shocked to see Indy or San Fran winning their games.

WWE uploaded the video of Ric Flair speaking to the 49ers. Glad to see Ric still has a good relationship with the company and I love how WWE is partnering with the 49ers lately since we're hosting Wrestlemania 31.

Broncos v Chargers, I think the Chargers absolutely reek of one of those middle of the pack teams that all of a sudden catches fire going into the playoffs, but in the end I think Peyton Manning is the better QB and is going to make fewer mistakes than Philip Rivers in the end. If the Chargers come out quick they have a shot, but under any other scenario this falls to Denver
My pick: Denver Broncos: 38 San Diego Chargers 24
Patriots v Colts, Probably the toughest of the weekend IMO because I have no idea what Colts team will show up. If the Colts play a bad half of football they'll probably lose, while the Patriots have proven then can suck for a half and still pull out the win. I have no idea how the Patriots won 12 games this year, but they managed to find a way, and they're tough to beat at home
My pick: New England Patriots 27 Indianapolis Colts 24
San Francisco 49ers v Carolina Panthers, People still seem to sleep on the Panthers, I think they're underrated, but I also think San Francisco is better all around. I think the 9ers D steps up and they pull out a road win
My pick, San Francisco 49ers 23 Carolina Panthers 17
Seattle v New Orleans, This should be fun, and it's Seattle's chance to look like the next great team in the NFL. I like Seattle to win the Super Bowl. I think Russell Wilson is one of the 5 best QBs in football, they can run, the receivers can catch and we all know about the D.
My pick: Seattle Seahawks 35 New Orleans Saints 21

Long time Patriots fan, even before the Parcells days.
As for my picks I'm picking all the home teams.

Go ahead and mark me down as the forum's sole Steelers fan.
I've probably watched the Chargers/Bengals highlights between NFL Network & Sportscenter almost 10 times and I'll never tire watching the Bengals choke when it matters the most. Call it sour grapes or poor decorum, I don't care. I don't care for New England or Baltimore, I pity Cleveland, but the Bengals are the only team in sports, professional or collegiate, that I honestly hate. Now that the Bengals are out of it, I feel like a wet blanket's been lifted off of the playoffs and I can enjoy the tournament again.
Onto more important things, I'll make some quick predictions for next week.
I'd really like the Broncos to win, but this just feels like one of those games that Peyton Manning loses. I really want him to get 1 more ring before he retires, I want this to be the year he wins it, but after the run San Diego has been on, I just don't know.
Pats over the Colts, begrudgingly.
49ers over the Panthers. Carolina peaked too early IMO and San Francisco is getting hot at the right time.
Seahawks over the Saints. I know Arizona won there in week 16, but I just can't see anyone else winning in Seattle.
On one last note, I've been seeing on the NFL Network ticker all day that Marshawn Lynch got fined $50k, what's the story behind the fine?

I think Shaq was fined 25k once for that same thing.

I think that if I were a Pats fan I would be scared of Indy. They are a physical team and the last several games have knocked multiple players out of each game. The Patriots are threadbare now and really don't have NFL-quality players as back-ups for several positions.

NFL Network's Mike Silver is "hearing" the Dolphins "may" retain GM Jeff Ireland, "against all odds."

I'm more of a believer in general, meaning I'm more inclined to give the benefit of the doubt. Thus, I have to pick the Broncos next week. I just can't see Peyton Manning and the Broncos getting the #1 seed 2 years in a row and then losing immediately 2 years in a row. I know the Chargers are hot, but the Broncos could and should beat them, so I think they will. And, I'll join the fandom list: New England Patriots (which sounds ironic considering the endorsement I just gave ).

Colts/Patriots- The Next Generation!
Old rivalry, new twist- For once, Indy's got house money (Luck doesn't have enormous pressure to win in Foxboro ala Peyton once had) since all the pressure's on New England, with EVERYBODY projecting them to the AFC-CG and a lot of Patriot fans banking on a San Diego upset.

I wouldn't say banking on a Chargers upset, as a Patriots fan I'm fine with playing the Broncos again. Obviously they are better than the Chargers so if we get past the Colts getting another home game would be fine. But I don't think the Broncos are some unstoppable force the Patriots can't beat again. Especially if the 2nd time the Patriots don't fumble 50 times in the first quarter.

The thing I'm scared of the most is the Broncos making mental mistakes. Pound for pound we have probably the most talented roster in football, but when they get flustered the entire team falls apart and it's hard to watch. Be it Peyton getting pressured into making bad passes or the defense jumping early on 4th down, the Broncos' worst enemy is the Broncos most of the time; that can't be the case against Philip "Bolo Ties are Sweet" Rivers.
