The one time during the original Nexus angle, when of their own accord, the crowd universally stood with Cena and chanted this toward him.
I'm not even much of a Cena guy and I loved this moment and even felt it a lil heart-warming, and in particular dug how organic and spontaneous it was.
I don't think I've seen a crowd in this era come up with something all their own, and be united in that sentiment before or since.

I wish all crowds had that level of both creativity and dedication to the product

That chant would be perfect as hell right now for Bryan's story with the Wyatts.

One of the few times in recent memory Cena had the entire crowd behind him. Truly magnificient storytelling. Actually booking him to be vulnerable rather than just saying he has odds to overcome works wonders.

Actually booking him to be vulnerable rather than just saying he has odds to overcome works wonders. How it all turned out in the end, though... Ugh, How QUICKLY they went from one of the coolest moments in WWE history (Nexus wrecking shop and destroying the ring) to Wade being LITERALLY buried (under a mountain of chairs)... And from having the crowd organically behind Cena to "Same Old Shit" once again...

It irks me that people act as though everyone loved John Cena because of the Nexus. There were still people bugged by his stale act during that time.
The chant was awesome, but it was embarrasing when John Cena tried to make it a thing. Just like Jerry Lawler tried with "Fandangoing."
There is nothing wrong with some spontaneity, WWE!

Yeah, that was probably John Cena's crowning achievement as a Face.

And right there...is why WWE fails.
When the crowd supports Cena, WWE has him mow over the people that he illicits that reaction from (Edge in 2006, Nexus). They had opportunities to milk both and continue to organically gain support for Cena. Instead, they hit the panic button WAY too soon and the crowd soon goes right back to being split on him.

How the f*** WWE didn't look at that moment and go, "That's it. That's our Mania main event." I have no idea.
