Is this what's best for business?
according to PWmania
Stephanie McMahon sold 69,893 shares of WWE stock on January 2nd and January 3rd for a total of $1,123,121. She has 70,107 remaining shares.
I don't deal with stocks, but this sounds weird.
Thoughts?

Evidently, she's been selling off huge chunks of stock for months to build a mansion. Maybe she figures she'll inherit Vince's so she doesn't need hers.

From what I remember, when a McMahon sells off their stock, those shares instantly convert to non-voting shares, so it means nothing in the long run.

After all she's sold in the past few months, I'm surprised she has any left.

Isn't this the third time now she's sold a large chunk of shares?

Well... when your salary AND stocks are based in the same company, it's not the worst idea to invest elsewhere.

After all she's sold in the past few months, I'm surprised she has any left. I thought she sold it all in 2001 to have the money to buy ECW. Which in retrospect, do you really need to sell all of your WWE stock to buy a bankrupt company (especially when they went from chapter 11 to chapter 7)?

I think these shares are imaginary.
Steph: "I want to sell nine snillion shares."
Stockbroker: "Very well. You still have eleventy whillion shares at your disposal."
Steph: "I have THAT many still? You know what. Momma wants to buy a yacht and call it The Filthy Slut. Instead of the nine snillion, make it two thoundred chillion."
Stockbroker: "Sounds great. Here's a piece of paper written in crayon that indicates this transaction has occurred."

WWE stock is supposedly doing very well right now on the verge of the announcement of the WWE Network and the plans to seek big TV deals since their TV deals are about to be renewed. Steph's numbers people are probably telling her this would be a great time to sell some of her shares.

WWE stock seems to double and then fall every few years. I sold mine in anticipation of this pattern.

Selling them just before they announce the Network seems odd, but it could mean there's more to the value of the stock *just* before a huge announcement (which could, honestly, cause a sharp uptick or downtick in trading)......
Or she's insane.
Really could be either or here.

She should invest in Gold Coast. I did, and I made millions.

Stockbroker: "Mrs. McMahon-Levesque, these aren't stocks at all. In fact most of it appears to be toilet paper....some of which has been soiled."
Stephanie: "That makes it worth more, right?"
