I just rewatched the segment from the episode of Raw from the night after Survivor Series 2001 in which Flair is revealed as the co-owner of WWE since the consortium that Shane and Stephanie sold their WWE stock was Flair himself. I was kinda thinking that it kind of reminds me of the end of Batman Begins when they're tying up all the loose ends and it is revealed that Lucious Fox has replaced William Earle as CEO of Wayne Enterprises on the orders of new majority share owner Bruce Wayne who bought said stock through various trusts, charitable organizations and so forth (it's all a bit technical). It just feels weird watching that segment in retrospect knowing that Batman Begins almost had a similiar ending four years later. Also kind of sad looking at how good Flair looked in that segment (you know, all "past his prime" and "over the hill") compared to now. I mean sure, he'd probably still look worse now then he did then just because of the unstoppable march of time, but when you factor in the "Nature Boy" lifestyle it just expediates the process.

You say that but Flair looked pretty much exactly the same for at least 20 years.
then suddenly he sorta aged about 30 in 2.
