So I'm starting to read year end lists and comments from some people about last year and one thing is starting to catch my eye: Payback's not getting the love it did back in June. What happened? Prior to Summerslam, this seemed like everyone's choice for best pay-per-view of the year, now all of a sudden it's barely getting recognized at all.

Because Summerslam was so good. The top three matches (Cena/Bryan, Lesnar/Punk, Del Rio/Christian) were among the best of the year and it happened all night.
I really love Payback because of AJ/Kaitlyn though. Am I wrong or are those the only two good PPVs of last year?

They're probably near the top, but everything before Summerslam was solid in some form, especially MITB.

Extreme Rules was a big disappointment from past years.
