after WWE?
Recently I've been watching a lot of shoot interviews from over the year. The most fascinating to me aren't the big stars doing them like a Flair or Angle, but instead I gravitate towards the Crushes and New Age Outlaws types, even Hardcore Holly. One thing I notice from all of these that ties them together is a lot of former WWE guys HATED working in WWF back in the 1990's/early 2000's. Some of them I remember pulling for and wondering where they went and others just vanished and showed up in WCW or somewhere or other. The thing was it was always the people I least expected growing up, like Billy Gunn seemed like a WWE guy through and through, and then fast forward to 2007 and he HATES HHH and WWE altogether. So, something like that.
I can see Zack Ryder cutting some brutal shoot promos on the business once he's out of it. What about you guys?

They might not be "scathing", but Dolph Ziggler's gonna have a lot of good stories to tell and be very opinionated.

As much as I hate shoot interviews, I'm betting Dolph Ziggler's would be pretty scathing.

I could see Trent Barreta giving a pretty bad one considering one of the first things he did when he got released was hop on Twitter and go "And now that I'm free: Kofi Kingston is an asshole."

This happened? It was a joke. They are good friends and used to travel together so Trent made a "shoot" tweet about his buddy.

Ah. My bad, if it was just a joke. It just seemed out of nowhere when it did happen, so I thought it was real.

I figured they were alright, seeing as Kofi featured in his "WHERE'S TRENT!?" vids. I'd be surprised if it was true as well, seeing as Kofi seems like a pretty stand-up guy.
On a similar note, Zack Ryder's going to become one of those guys who'll do a shoot interview for spare change and hate everyone.

To me, shooting on being under the E hood would be cake. It's such a corporate slave driving entity that there's probably not one person on the roster that couldn't hammer it in there if they took the time to compose their thoughts.
The only people that probably wouldn't have an unkind word or two would be top dawgs that fancy coming back at some point.
You know that corrupt a wish game that gets played here from time to time? That is what I would imagine working for the WWE is actually like. Unless you're just a loaded stick of dynamite, you probably get people effing with from all sides just about every day of your life about the dumbest of things.

I imagine that Ryder will just shrug, sigh in disappointment, say "It was a good run, but oh well", and continue doing his thing in the micro-indies (he'd probably go back to NYWC and be a "returning hero" there) or retiring from the business altogether.

Del Rio, if ever leaves. We already know he hates Miz and has a nasty past with Sin Cara.
