Kaufman has living family and his longtime partner Lynne Margulies is still alive. Bob Zmuda could also help accept or appear as Tony Clifton. There are living celebrities that I'd like to go in. I'm not really clamoring for Kaufman to go in, though I am very familiar with his career and wrestling connection. If and when Kaufman goes in, he is the god father of the celebirty wing, the Andre of the celebirty wing.

I would consider Muhammad Ali to be the Godfather of the WWE celebrity wing. He based his trash talking off of Gorgeous George and or Freddie Blassie and fought Antonio Inoki and Monsoon before Kaufman started wrestling ladies.
Given that they devoted a chapter to Muhammad Ali on their recent Mid-South dvd, I would suspect they'd consider inducting him this year. Unless they've asked him in the past and turned them down. I know he was on the short list that Hulk Hogan leaked in 2007. So he has been on their minds for at least 7 years now.

I suppose if Bruno and Vince can bury the hatchet, HHH can get Hogan and Warrior to do the same. Yeah I am convinced that HHH has some powerful lobotomizing machine somewhere in the basement of Titan Towers to use on bitter ex-employees.

Nah, Hunter just uses that on his ex-girlfriends like Chyna. TO be serious, I think it helps a lot that Hunter himself wasn't around when guys like Warrior had their troubles with company start.

Why is Brutus Beefcake never mentioned for the Hall of Fame? Before his accident he was one of the most over guys in WWF.

Why is Brutus Beefcake never mentioned for the Hall of Fame? Before his accident he was one of the most over guys in WWF. He definitely deserves it. From what I recall, he said he'd accept if asked. With Hogan on board, we may soon see either Beefcake or the Nasty Boyz in before long.

They like putting in somebody for international markets. Japan is now getting RAW live so I'm thinking a Japanese great goes in. My guess is Muta. Hardcore domestic fans will remember him well. Maybe Ultimo Dragon or Jushin Lyger for the same reasons. Then you go into the realms of the Four Pillars, the other two three musketeers, Jumbo and Baba... Or maybe they put in Stan Hansen and make that the international entry, which makes sense. But overall I predict... UW, Paul Bearer, Jake Roberts, The Midnight Express & Jim Cornette, Lita & Dick Ebersol Gonna throw one out there for the Japan route which was an innovator, a big name but not ultra big to overload one class... Great Kabuki He spent alot of his US time in Texas and the South, first one for mist

so I was thinking the other night "what if they never took a break and inducted guys during that period of 1997-2003?" especially since WCW was still alive for a good portion of that, I'm sure we'd get a lot of low to midcard WWF guys in the hall to fill those spots.

Nothing wrong with that. You'd probably see Garea and Hillbilly Jim in there, as well as others who do more behind the scenes stuff, since the HOF was more of a "thank you for being loyal" back then, at least a lot of guys who probably wouldn't get in now, would at least get in back then. Of course, I could see Shawn being inducted right after he retired in 1998, so who knows.

Hillbilly Jim might very well go in this year. He is the only legend on Legends House who isn't in there HoF yet. He kinda sticks out. Of course inducting him before Haystacks Calhoun seems a bit off. I wonder if they'd go with Jim the Anvil Neidhart this time because of Total Divas. Provided he's stable enough to be inducted. Why is Brutus Beefcake never mentioned for the Hall of Fame? Before his accident he was one of the most over guys in WWF. He certainly deserves it. With Hogan back in the WWE, his induction seems more likely now. But he's a character you would think they'd have brought back for an old school RAW by now. Maybe people just don't like him or maybe he's still too much of an addict?

I also wondered what guys would have gone in much earlier as well. I think Slaughter definitely. I also see Rene Goulet getting a nod if this had been the case.

Meltzer has a note today about how Ted DiBiase Sr had to pull out of the Mid South show Mania weekend because the WWE just booked him for Mania weekend
Maybe he will induct Dr Death or Murdoch

There are a lot of people Ted DiBiase could be inducting. Dick Murdoch, Dr Death, Tommy Rich, Stan Hansen, The One Man Gang, or even Jake the Snake Roberts.
But I'd suspect it's Mike Rotundo aka Irwin R. Schyster.

I'm sure if anyone does Jake's induction, it will be DDP.

And if they did induct him, they definitely should induct him as 'Mike Rotundo' and his Hall of Fame video should address the U.S. Express, the Varsity Club, and IRS/Money Incorporated. Ted DiBiase would be a great inductor, especially if WWE doesn't want Bray Wyatt to break character. There are certain characters who are probably better off not breaking character, and I guess Bray is one of them. And who wants to hear Bo Dallas?
