I get that the New Age Outlaws are tight with The Authority and all, but why help Punk on Old School Raw, team with him on SmackDown, THEN turn on him in another tag match on the next Raw? For the thrill of the Swerve?
Or were they convinced somehow? Maybe Triple H will give em a Tag Team title shot as a reward or something.

False sense of security, though it makes Punk look like a complete idiot.

They seemed pretty reluctant and disappointed after it happened, so I'm guessing Triple H gave them the order.

Though it makes Punk look dumb, I do like the potential of the NAO being Triple H's version of Vince's Stooges.

Because a heel turn for people that show up a couple times a year is really intense.
Next up, Duggan appears on the go home Rumble show, wipes his ass with the american flag...then we don't see him again until September.
That's what draws for sure.

Eh, they seem to be sticking around for a bit, given the match with the Rhodes on SmackDown. Plus sometimes that kind of thing can work, like Dusty turning heel on Mysterio in 2011.
