Japanese Episode 15 of Season 2 today, "Apple Cider Fight"...
Flim and Flam had good voices that suited their characters fine (one of them I know from also voicing Inspector Takagi in Case Closed). The Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000 was just known as the "Super Speedy Cider Machine" in the dub.
The song had a dub this time. Worked pretty good.
Otherwise nothing much to point out translation-wise.
Cuts I noticed:
1. The start of the episode with Rainbow surprising Fluttershy at her house got cut. We start the cold open with them flying across Ponyville, the first line being Fluttershy's "Where are we? What's the rush?"
2. The short convo between Twilight and Spike in the cider queue got cut.
3. Pinkie gloating to Rainbow about the taste of the cider got cut.
4. A few snippets of Apple Bloom trying to strike a deal with Flim and Flam after the song got cut.
See you next time for "Rainbow Dash's Secret"...
