On another note the SB Commercials sucked this year Some were good, like the Colbert pistachio commercials, the Terry Crews/Muppets car ad and the Morpheus Opera car ad. The Tebow commercials and the Jaguar villains commercial were good.

It just felt that every 50/50 thing went Seattle's way. I think that the defense was too thin to cope with those those three series at the very start where they were basically on the field the whole time with little rest, and they got tired. Seattle deserved the win, they were clearly the better team on the night, but if the Broncos had a little more luck with stuff like the fumbles, the tipped passes, then it might have been closer.
Though the Patriots fans saying they'd have won if they'd been in the SB... uhhh no. Not if the Seahawks played like that.

Their secondary was crap and Brady was pulling that offense kicking and screaming to victory all season long. Seattle would have killed them.

That was the worst Super Bowl I've ever seen. Congrats Seattle but holy shit that was bad.

I don't think there were that many fifty/fifty things. Maybe two or three, otherwise, just an ass kicking.

I'll created a thread where we can discuss the SB commercials. I'll only say this: Try harder Madison Avenue, I want to be interested in your product, not repealed by it.

Man, this really hurts. I had a feeling that Denver would come up short, but to roll over for Seattle like they did is pathetic. After the third Denver drive of the game, I turned it off, but looked online at the score. It's just unbelievable that they couldn't do anything till the 3rd quarter. I have to credit Seattle for showing up, and they without a doubt showed us what their defense was made of. But the thing that bothers me the most is how everyone is going to jump at how overrated Peyton is, or how he sucks in the post season, or how he folds under pressure. All I wanted was for him to get a little redemption for being dumped by the Cols after he put his heart and soul into them and had some of the most frustrating seasons that any quarterback could have when he has very little to work with. Of course, people who claim that Peyton sucks and such won't look at the numbers he's achieved, but at the rings he's won. I'm done. I'm just so tired of my teams making it to the big dance, only to give a very underwhelming performance. The reason Peyton gets post season crap is because he's one of a handful of the greatest to ever play his position but has a .500 record in the playoffs. He only gets crap because everybody knows how good he is. That being said the Colts had to dump him, they had an opportunity to stay relevant and get a franchise QB whos going to play a decade after Peyton retires. Made total sense.

Interesting note,
The Seahawks scored within the first 12 seconds in each half.

Though the Patriots fans saying they'd have won if they'd been in the SB... uhhh no. Not if the Seahawks played like that. No way would New England have won. It didn't matter who won the Championship Games, the NFC was walking out with the Super Bowl. They're just too damn tough and physical for New England or Denver.

I know several posts back I said whatever post it was would be my last but f*** it, I love football and with no meds I am most likely not going to sleep for the next 12 hours.
Anyway, as a Broncos fan, this hurt. This hurt a damn lot. It also makes me hopeful however. Coming out of 2013's embarrassment to the Ravens, I thought we'd reached out ceiling and wanted to see them improve on that and make it to the title game but they went out and blew away every offensive record and made it though with a patchwork defense to the Super Bowl. I hope they take this ass whipping to heart and use it like they did the Ravens' loss this year. There is a lot of room for improvement and we will see new faces on both sides of the ball but I remember when Peyton signed I said year 3 would be our year if it is to happen and here we are.
In closing, fire Fox and bring on the 2014 season.

Champ Bailey said he's not done playing football.
Champ, dude, I f***ing love you to death, but it's time to hang up the cleats.

In closing, fire Fox and bring on the 2014 season. Broncos need a coach that has killer instinct, that will get the team to have somewhat of an attitude, that will shove right back at the opposing team and pop them in the mouth. Seattle, San Francisco, Carolina, and even Arizona all have those things. To take on what the NFC will be throwing out, they've got to get tough, cocky and nasty.

Champ, you're going into the Hall of Fame whatever... retire, and have some semblance of a life after football.

This was like the early 90's when the NFC was always kicking ass in the SB

Champ Bailey said he's not done playing football. Champ, dude, I f***ing love you to death, but it's time to hang up the cleats. He may not be done but I doubt there is a club out there that agrees with him. If he makes it back on the Broncos roster I'll be shocked. I could maybe see someone giving him a shot at making the move to safety but in no way is he a starting or even nickel CB in the league next year.

The thing I'm worried about is him getting cut by the Broncos, then some crappy team runs out of servicable DBs and brings him in...

Betting the Broncos to score exactly 8 points paid 250-1 at some casinos and SEA scoring 43 paid 100-1. I know betting that the first score of the game would be a safety for SEA paid 40-1 in some places. I took the alternate line of SEA -7.5 because as a Colts fan, I knew that Manning would likely fall on his face again.
