I went in thinking "I hope this game was in development for twenty years"... And it didn't disappoint me. I want this game, no, I need this game and I don't even have a SNES.

Even crazier than the time I found out that there are still companies making games for the Dreamcast.

Sweet I'm going to Toys R Us, handing that ticket to the weird guy in the cave and getting my game

Apparently the Dreamcast is absurdly easy to hack, which is one of the reasons it was a financial failure: it was very easy to play pirated games and make unlicensed titles for it.

I'm pretty sure no modding is needed for most Dreamcasts. I honestly don't even think you have to patch the game files, pretty sure it's just burn and play

A few Dreamcast games were up for game of the year type awards this year. A few of those SHMUPs are supposed to be insanely good.

I was interested, until I saw that it's 80 bucks.

I think I may need to buy an SNES for this. I actually want to play it.

I was interested, until I saw that it's 80 bucks. A lot of SNES games were 80 bucks way back when. DO not get me started on Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy 3, oy. Not saying I would pay that for this however. Cartidges are not cheap and I bet harder to come across these days.
