From Wikipedia's page:
"I Won't Do What You Tell Me" by Jim Johnston (October 12, 1998 – April 27, 2000; December 3, 2001–present) "Glass Shatters" by Disturbed (September 24, 2000 – July 22, 2001; 2011 – Promos) "Rattlesnake" by Jim Johnston (2001) "Hell on Earth" by Jim Johnston (2001) "Paranoid" by Jim Johnston (2001) "Venomous" by Jim Johnston (August 6, 2001 – November 29, 2001)
6 themes, which started from the Disturbed cover to back to his original theme. Apparently he had Corre/Wade Barret Syndrome in that year.

His Disturbed theme was his best, so badass.

But, seriously, why so many themes? Was Jim Johnson just bored or something?

But, seriously, why so many themes? Was Jim Johnson just bored or something? I wanna say the 4 after disturbed were all very similar, but I don't remember for sure. I seem to remember the heel theme being a slowed down version of his classic theme

Whenever I play Just Bring It, I use "Glass Shatters" instead of "Rattlesnake."

His Disturbed theme was his best incorrect. there is, and will forever be, only ONE Austin theme. One hit wonder pseudo-metal band cross promotion wonder band theme is not that. (sorry, I feel very strongly about this particular thing)

I'd prefer Glass Shatters if it was an instrumental. The lyrics are bad enough to begin with, but they're delivered in such an incomprehensible manner that it's impossible to take the song seriously as a result.

After listening to them all on YT, they're all different takes on the classic theme. Some sped up, one slowed down, and one sounds almost like a mashup with Bret's theme.

His first one was just his regular theme, and the 2nd one was apart of a bunch of themes released on WWE's "WWF Forceable Entry" entry album (they paid a bunch of metal bands to cover WWE themes)
The rest were probably just Vince telling Jim Johnston to make his theme more heelish. Eddie's theme was tweaked when he went heel. None sounded right, so they just kept changing it

From Wikipedia's page: "I Won't Do What You Tell Me" by Jim Johnston (October 12, 1998 – April 27, 2000; December 3, 2001–present) "Glass Shatters" by Disturbed (September 24, 2000 – July 22, 2001; 2011 – Promos) "Rattlesnake" by Jim Johnston (2001) "Hell on Earth" by Jim Johnston (2001) "Paranoid" by Jim Johnston (2001) "Venomous" by Jim Johnston (August 6, 2001 – November 29, 2001) 6 themes, which started from the Disturbed cover to back to his original theme. Apparently he had Corre/Wade Barret Syndrome in that year. Probably because it was too hard to "define" heel Austin, from his shirts, to his character, to his themes. The real Stone Cold was so iconic, it was hard to find what could be for heel Austin.

Technically, doesn't use the 1997-1998 theme song. He uses a faster version.

I always hated the Disturbed theme.
Venomous was pretty good, if a bit generic.

Hell on Earth was essentially a Rattlesnake remix. I remember HATING Venomous. And I don't even remember Paranoid.
The definitive Austin in my mind is IWDWYTM and Glass Shatters. Hell on Earth/Rattlesnake are acceptable .
