I really do have sympy for the guy. It's clear he is on his last couple of bumps and it's being wasted to try to put over Del Rio. I do believe he has value to the company as long as he wants to wrestle but it saddens me that one of my childhood favorites is being wasted on Del Rio .

i thought, as did del rio and the ref, that he was hurt again tonight. maybe he should hang them up before he ends up crippled. shame to say that though as he is in my opinion, legit one of the all time greats.

It's to the point that whenever I watch Mysterio matches, I'm almost wincing whenever he does a particularly intense spot. Rey can still put on a very good match, but at the risk of getting really hurt again, it's hard to say it's worth it. He and Big Show should really consider being seasonal guys who come back to work a few programs for a few months, once a year. Show is in healthy condition, but he's just there and taking up a spot (right now he's fine against Lesnar, I will say). He'd be more menacing if he was around less often. Rey would have a longer career with less chance of injury if he had PLANNED leave of absences.
I think Jericho broke the wall down (pun totally intended) with being a legacy talent who stays around just long enough to have run and stays gone just long enough to where you begin missing him again. I like both Show and Rey, but I'm over them as regular performers for different reasons.

He should have hung them up years ago. I don't think he's going to stop until he actually ends up crippled.

I'll be glad when the guy is finally done and quits stinking up TV with his ridiculous "offense".

he needs to hang it up. it is sad that he's still coming into work and all WWE can think of doing with him is wasting him on the most boring main event talent since Lex Luger (WWF version).

I'm really not sure what the point is. This is literally the same thing that's happened in his last...what, five returns?
He comes back, then six TV days a month he fights Del Rio, maybe occasionally having a tag team match with someone. Then right back to Del Rio until he's hurt again.
Then he comes back from injury yaaaaaaaaaaaaay............and right back to Del Rio.
Seriously, why are we still doing this?

To be fair to WWE, Mysterio likes Del Rio and enjoys wrestling him and putting him over.

So basically Rey is the real life version of "The Wrestler". One day he is gonna go for a 619 and the screen is gonna go dark and ENTERTAINMENT is gonna flash across the screen.

And some kid in the 5th row will get his leg as a souvenir. Although, the kid turns heel by jumping in front of the stretcher and yell "YOU FORGOT YOUR LEG" then hits Rey in the head with his own severed leg.
