From Twitter:
Originally, Manchester and London were going to be One Night Only tapings, but been switched around so only Birmingham is One Night Only with 3 double tapings around it. Obviously to cut costs but that's still making the shows very draining when they don't seem to be selling well anyway (Fan Interaction tickets are still selling, which I've never seen before).

Holy audience burnout, Batman. Not to mention confusion. Unless everyone there is reading spoilers (which doesn't mean much with TNA since they don't show backstage stuff) I don't believe that any of the crowds outside the first taping will actually have an idea what is going on thanks to the taping schedule.

TNA is going for the Scorched Earth method for the UK market. I know that's their biggest fanbase but asking them to come to see the shows minus names like Hardy, Sting, and Styles is asking for it.

TNA can always have some of their jobbers dress up as dead wrestlers in hopes the audiences doesn't notice.

You sort of figured they were going to do something like this, since they lost their taping location.

Wasn't it already known that they were taping in England all the way up to Lockdown?

This is such a TNA move. Only TNA could figure out a way to confuse their most loyal market with nonsensical tv tapings. It would suck to be at one of the last tapings on the tour not knowing what in the hell is going on storyline wise.

On the bright side most TNA angles continue for about 18 months so the fans probably won't miss much as far as storyline advancement.

It's very hard to get into those later episodes knowing some have been taped 5-6 weeks prior.
TNA is clearly in damage control as well. Those shows mentioned in the OP have gone from House Shows to One Night Onlys and now TV Tapings. Not good.

Well, this will make attending the tapings something. I'm not sure what yet. Going to the Glasgow ones, I'm assuming they will film in two episode blocks instead of being like "we'll tape episodes #1 & #4 tonight and then do #2 & #5 in Manchester and #3 & #6 in London".

I am also going to the Glasgow taping next week. Should be interesting.....I remember WWE doing two Smackdown tapings in the UK in one night a few years back (I think it was Manchester but may have been Sheffield). I was loving getting twice my money's worth then - Jeff Hardy actually beat Triple H and the Undertaker in the same night - but it did have an impact (no pun intended) on the crowd, as many had to leave early as they had only been expecting one show.
Also on the TNA fan interaction, they just announced this week that it would be at 3.00 in the afternoon rather than in the evening. Fortunately I was able to get the afternoon off work - but this is really something they should make clear well in advance when buying tickets if they are going to hold something in the afternoon on a weekday.
Still looking forward to it regardless.

The crowds for these tapings will be louder than American fans!

The way I would do things, if its a double taping...just put on all the wrestling you can for each show and film the backstage segments later.
So if one week you know you have 5 matches booked, have the 5 matches, do an intermission of about 15-20 minutes, then film the other matches. Maybe they do that already, IDK.

At the rate they are taping, they will tape for the whole year by mid July.

Hopefully their taping schedule eases up a bit here since they have a confirmed location for a while.
