You all know your true hero has arrive. He wasn't my first choice but personally with all the hate he's going to get, I wanted to give the perspective of how hilarious this whole situation is to me. Also we might get face douchtista which is well worth the price of admission.

@wwecreative_ish: Moral of the story: work hard, deliver in the ring every night & you can watch as a part-time movie star headlines WrestleMania

For a face, he's been booked like shit in my opinion. He really hasn't looked that impressive since he came back, sloppy. I think they'd be better off turning him full Douchetista, putting the belt on a face, and going that way.

I still like Batista. Dude flat out said that he was winning last Monday, I'm not sure why anyone is surprised.

Batista: always finding a new way to be entertaining. Being the older, slower, more immobile version of Daniel Bryan is his new gimmick

I love Batista, but I didn't want him winning. There were other guys who I think would have made the moment feel cooler. Hell, Reigns would have been an awesome winner.
...Although, gotta admit, I'd have marked the f*** out if he didn't appear on raw at all. Like he was just a surprise entrant and ended up winning the rumble. It's having time to think about the idea ahead of time that lessened my markish response.

He looked pretty shit too. Obvious ring rust all the way through, awkwardly jiggling in his badly-fitting gear, spear was terrible compared to Reigns'.

WWE f***ed themselves when they advertised Batista and had to announce his return.

Personally I found it predictable but when a man's return pops a rating like he did - there's interest there despite what the internet or fans in attendance might think. Sorry but...there is. He wasn't my choice but there's a logic to it, and he has momentum.
WWE is fast becoming immune to live-event reaction and following the money or at least where their indicators suggest it may lay

I find myself in a weird spot. I don't really like Batista, I'm not looking forward to his 'Mania match with Orton, I don't really look forward to any of his matches, he comes off as a genuine douchebag. But damnit I love Batista.

Punk, Bryan, Reigns, Ziggler, Big E... A few names that are part of the WWE's future, who have worked hard over the last 12 months and done a great job, whom are endlessly more deserving than an aging Batista who is literally cashing in because he can. It's Wrestlemania 30 for f*** sake. You either plan for the future or give it to a guy who is a true legend or big time player. Batista is neither.

WWE f***ed themselves when they advertised Batista and had to announce his return. Yeah, I wonder how this would have gone if Batista had been a surprise entrance.

I'm just so incredibly apathetic to the idea of Batista being in the main event. Damn near any other option would've been more interesting to me
