I never praised bully ray for anything and you're welcome to find my posts. Bully was always dog shit, a cheap heat vacuum and one main reason why I quit watching.

Gotta love how people are shitting on Bully Ray as champion yet were praising it when it was happening. 'Greatest Heel!' 'Ray is the best he's ever been!' and 'Wow Aces and Eights might suck but Ray's killing it!'...it's so easy to lump everything into the same box labelled shit but TNA has always had it's good points, some people just aren't willing to admit it after the fact. Was that really the reaction? I thought the general consensus was that as great as Bully was, he couldn't overcome the suck that was Aces & Eights.

It frustrates me how wwe is practically handing tna an opportunity on a silver platter each week. If it wasn't such a clusterf***, they'd be beating the E hands down.
Honestly, if tna were a company with their financial priorities in order and had decent bookings, I bet Bryan Danielson would go there and get his proper due. The same way Jericho did when he went to the wwf. Of course unfortunately that is not tna.

I guess you can argue that might have changed with his WWE run but I think he'd rather have a farewell run in the indies and then retire to happiness like he was planning before his WWE run, rather than go to TNA.

Ya know, TNA had the perfect chance years ago to actually be different from WWE; an alternate. They aren't. They are exactly the same, minus a larger roster & a few more TV shows. If you already have a WWE, why do you need to watch a lower-rent version of one?
TNA is the lower-rent WWE. Nothing more.
They could have stood out with the six sided ring & focus on new stars. Amazing X-Division matches could have help set them apart like they did originally - The Unbreakable 3-way match with Joe/Daniels/Styles was insane & different to anything WWE was putting on at the time. It made you want to flip over the channel & see something that was different. Now days, you flip over & just see the same type of product: evil boss figure, paper champion; ex WWE talent, old talent hogging the top spots (Sting).
If you want something different to WWE, seek out the indies: PWG, CZW, AIW, AAW, Beyond Wrestling. All quality stuff.

No thanks. TNA isn't doing it for me either. Luckily, PWG, AAW and NJPW are all really awesome right now.

TNA uses you for sex, gives you Herpes, then doesn't call you the next day.

Well not in current tna(or when hogan/bisch were running the show), but if any mid-sized company were to have their shit together, I could see him going. If Jarrett were to start his own fed and actually have a tv deal, I'm wondering if Danielson would consider it. Again, it's such a shame that Dixie is pretty much destroying such a good opportunity.

So...yeah, I had no idea Magnus was champion.
Kinda funny that TNA is kinda (kinda) pushing new people.

Thank God for Dixie taking 1/3 of every show for her promos. TNA! TNA! TNA!

Good stuff Last night's Royal Rumble increased my love for TNA! I love ya' you optimistic son of a gun I enjoyed the Rumble last night but there was a few down points which make me hopeful for the future as far as TNA is concerned. With the ratings on the up swing, developing some untapped talent and a setup for a great summer I don't see the problem with being optimistic either, if they capitalize on the momentum good things will happen.

TNA needs to worry about selling enough tickets to the show to make ends meet than trying to one up WWE. That's been TNA's main problem. They are always trying to fight a non-existence war with WWE and wasting way too much resources to win something they can't win. You have fans who think this is still the Monday Night Wars and you got to take sides. Current TNA isn't winning the hearts and minds of those disenchanted with WWE like they done in their past. There isn't the great wrestling from the X or Knockouts Division. The best heel in the biz, Bully Ray, is an dickporting emo. Bad Influence are jobber fodder. One of TNA's crowning points the tag team division is in such shambles that even the debuting American Wolves is not enough to save it. So in other words, TNA needs to get their house in order instead of trying to General Sherman WWE.
