I would have zero issues paying him if he actually won something for us, but over 18 million a year to throw errant passes when it matters the most is ridiculous. The play at the end of the Superbowl was awful and he did the same damn thing at the end of the NFC title game this year. 18 mill a year is way too much money for a guy who locks in on his first read. He made bad decisions, but he wasn't the only one. I swear Harbaugh gets to a point where he out-thinks himself. On both of those occasions, Harbaugh should have called for Kaepernick to run (hell in the Super Bowl, he had 4 downs and didn't have Kap run), Kaepernick was tearing up both defenses with his legs. The Niners still had time in the NFC Championship, and the Seahawks didn't have an answer for Kaepernick running. Seattle was expecting the pass, that moment was screaming for Kaepernick to roll out, run with the ball gaining 15 yards, and stepping out of bounds. Except under those conditions teams should be keying in on Kaepernick to keep him from doing just that. Had he had a better pocket presence (which he might still develop), he would have been able to finish those drives by finding the open man on his third read or a check-down.

Saying this as a Green Bay fan and owner of two Rodgers jerseys, I think any player shouldn't make over 15 million in a year. And with the QBs, we're talking about generally the most popular and visible players on the team, with a better post football life then most in the game

Monday Morning Quarterback's Greg Bedard believes Texas A&M's Johnny Manziel "is not doing himself any favors in the eyes of NFL decision makers by continuing to be visible off the field."
"Manziel has been spotted at the Final Four and The Masters just in the past couple of weeks. Wouldn't be surprised if the Kentucky Derby is next. For most players, no one would care. But after his Summer of Johnny last year, Manziel isn't just any player," Greg Bedard wrote
Former Bucs GM and current ESPN analyst Mark Dominik said Louisville QB Teddy Bridgewater's stock started to fall long before his lackluster pro day.

Really now Manziel suppose to stay locked up in the house until the draft

I wonder what trouble will that punk Manziel get into at the Kentucky Derby. We all know that's a place for real OGs

How dare Manziel decide that he wants to go and see some of the nation's biggest sporting events!
After all the disruption he caused at the Final Four and Masters (seriously, would anyone even know he was there if cameras didn't point him out?), I can only imagine what kind of hell he's going to raise at a horse race!

Apparently having a life and doing things that one enjoys are frowned upon during the draft process. I mainly think that by pushing the draft back this season they need things to talk about and they're scraping the bottom trying to find something.

Really, in an off-season that has seen Ray Rice involved in a possible domestic violence incident, Aldon Smith make a bomb threat at an airport, and Colin Kaepernick and 2 other players involved in a possible sexual assault, Johnny Football going to sporting events is bad?

ESPN's John Clayton says Marshawn Lynch will be a candidate to be cut in 2015.
SI's Peter King says the Vikings won't draft a quarterback at No. 8 overall.
King says the Vikings don't want to gamble with their first pick. "That's a big reason why we made it a high priority to sign Matt Cassel back," GM Rick Spielman said. "Every one of these quarterbacks … nothing is a sure thing. There's no Andrew Luck, no Peyton Manning."

I just read that Phil Costa just decided to retire 1 month after signing with the Colts. All I can say is WHAT THE F***??!! Not that I really wanted him as the starting center, but they released Satele and did not make a play for Mack after signing this guy. Unless he just found out about some previously undiagnosed heart issue I am really kind of pissed.
Man, I hope Khalid is up for the task, but if he had been you would have thought he would have gotten the starting role over Satele.
