Montana Brady Aikman Bradshaw Elway Favre Staubach Steve Young Marino Fran Tarkenton Johnny Unitas Bart Starr Bob Griese Kurt Warner Bob Griese? IDK about that. Ditto Kurt Warner.

Favre and Warner didn't no-show their SB losses. So, because they were better losers that makes them superior. Alright, then.

Favre and Warner didn't no-show their SB losses. Remember the NFC Title game against the Saints? Yep, Favre sure delivered there!

And for all your kvetching about losing the Super Bowl destroying Manning's legacy, Marino didn't even win one.

Montana Brady Aikman Bradshaw Elway Favre Staubach Steve Young Marino Fran Tarkenton Johnny Unitas Bart Starr Bob Griese Kurt Warner Bart Starr? As a Green Bay fan I'll be the first to tell you he wasn't that great of a QB at all. Aikman is really over rated, he was good but imagine Peyton on the same offense as Irvin and Smith. Bradshaw was another good player but no way is he close to top 15. Steve Young was great but I think he could of done more in the 90's. Bob Griese has a passer rating of 77, Peyton has one of 97. No contest. Warner was an amazing player but he was never consistent with his performances after 2001. So there he is, at the very least 9th. And even if you take Young out of the equation he's top 10.

The exact same thing you are crucifying Manning for.

I was beyond dissapointated with how Peyton played yesterday.
I've seen him lose close, but not like that. You almost never see him look that bad, and he did.
8 points for the first members of the NFL's 600 point club is just ridiculous and stunning to fathom.
I used to be a Peyton apologist. Not anymore.

So, the Seahawks got their first Super Bowl last night, but who's next on this list? Cleveland Browns Detroit Lions Houston Texans Jacksonville Jaguars Arizona Cardinals Atlanta Falcons Buffalo Bills Carolina Panthers Cincinnati Bengals Minnesota Vikings Philadelphia Eagles San Diego Chargers Tennessee Titans I think the Cardinals are a few pieces away from making a run, so I'll go Cards. Thing is, being a history buff, a few of those teams have already won Championships. The Browns, the Lions, the Cardinals, the Eagles, and yes, even the Vikings were all NFL Champions, with the Vikings' title coming when the Super Bowl was a game between two league champions. And the Titans, the Bills, and the Chargers were all AFL Champions, with the Titans winning them as the Houston Oilers. But to answer the question, I think it will be the Carolina Panthers.

I was disappointed with the way he played, too, but I fail to see how the loss last night was all his fault. O-line gave up, receivers couldn't get open, Peyton threw terrible, terrible balls and special teams played so bad even the Redskins think they sucked. Did he have a hand in the Broncos loss? Absolutely, but can it all be pinned on Peyton? No. And I also fail to see how this one, solitary game erases everything he's done for his entire career, including coming back from a tough injury and multiple surgeries to take an entirely different club to the Super Bowl.

National Football Post's Len Pasquarelli passes along "scuttlebutt" that the Raiders may pursue Matt Schaub once the Texans release him.

I'm about to be even harsher than BRV/slickness: Everything Peyton Manning accomplished over 17 years is officially moot. His so-called legacy is up in flames. Nothing he's ever done matters anymore. All he accomplished is now meaningless and in tatters. Last night was a referendum on everything and anything he's ever done. It doesn't matter what he did or does. I don't care what Peyton did last year the year before or the year before. I don't care about his 400+ touchdowns. Last night feels like his whole career just died to me. As far as I'm concerened, Peyton Manning is dead to me and should just quit. Go away and get out of the game. You lost money on this game, didn't you?

Hey, I have to say this- No way is Favre as good as Peyton. Same amount of rings, Peyton is about to beat his TD record with a much better passer rating, more MVP awards, and he's a couple years away from breaking the overall pass yardage record, all a few years sooner then Favre. And no, this is not a disgruntled Green Bay fan pointing this out
