Alright, I wasn't really gonna address this for various reasons, but I'm getting sick of reading it: Seattle's offense is anything but vanilla. And you know what, I can understand it a little bit since it's stacked up against 55 TD's. Anything looks pedestrian compared to what Peyton Manning did this year. But stop trying to make out like they're the 2000 Ravens and Wilson is just some Dilfer-level game manager. They were one of the best offenses in the league this year, and the only reason that it's not obvious is because they play in the NFC West, where the worst defense in the division is ranked 13th. Their schedule was the 9th toughest defensive schedule in the league this year. Russell Wilson is already better at this stage in his career than post-Rebirth Alex Smith ever will be. He was incredibly efficient in a year where his top targets consisted of Doug Baldwin, Golden Tate, and Zach Miller.
Just stahp it.

Just read through this thread, and I have to ask...
Is Unocal even trying anymore? This is damn near blatant trolling.

I know it can be hard at times to remember but these players are still human and the losses can be extremely hard. Shaun Phillips posted this on Twitter last night:

Super Bowl XLVIII was most watched TV show ever in the US(111.5 million viewers on average).
Bruno Mars and Red Hot Chili Peppers had the most watched halftime show ever(115.3 million viewers)
Kansas City had the highest local ratings, followed by Seattle, Indianapolis, and New Orleans(Denver was 10th).
Edit: Lions claimed former Saints S Isa Abdul-Quddus off waivers today.

Russell Wilson plays like the next coming of Fran Tarkenton. Calling him a game manager is ridiculous. He just didn't have much of a postseason until last night where he just lit it up. He came up huge when his team needed him to and he deserves the credit for that.

People like to parrot what they hear from the media and form their opinions from there. Game managers do not play like Russell Wilson does.

Oh my God, is this a parody or something? Are we sure The Onion didn't buy out ESPN? espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs/2013/story/_/id/10393471/super-bowl-xlviii-loss-pity-denver-broncos-quarterback-peyton-manningIt hits every single note on the Peyton Manning Apologist Column, by absolving Manning of any blame for his two interceptions, pointing out the impending doctor's appointment (his neck, you guys! What if his neck was acting up Sunday!) and referencing how a win makes him the greatest quarterback of all-time, but a loss is no big deal. Especially a loss like this, for which he is essentially blameless.

Also everybody saying that Peyton Manning took mediocre teams to the playoffs when he was with the Colts must've forgotten the names of Reggie Wayne, Marvin Harrison, Edgerrin James, and Dallas Clark. Those guys in their prime were far from mediocre.

So, the Seahawks got their first Super Bowl last night, but who's next on this list?
Cleveland Browns Detroit Lions Houston Texans Jacksonville Jaguars Arizona Cardinals Atlanta Falcons Buffalo Bills Carolina Panthers Cincinnati Bengals Minnesota Vikings Philadelphia Eagles San Diego Chargers Tennessee Titans
I think the Cardinals are a few pieces away from making a run, so I'll go Cards.

The more I think about it....the more I would put Manning in Top 10 territory, but not Top 5 territory.

Are you talking about the Brett Favre and Kurt Warner with just one ring a piece?
Yeah, I can see how you'd see them as superior to Peyton, what with his...
Oh... wait a minute.
What's your criteria exactly, and why do Favre and Warner make that list and not Peyton? It can't be stats because Peyton damn near owns them all, so what is it?
