WHAT?
*begins fuming*
The last PPV we got was Over the Limit 2011 headlined by that shitty Miz/Cena match. Let us have Bryan in the main event of a PPV here in Seattle. It'll be the best reaction anyone's heard on PPV since Punk at Money in the Bank 2011.

I think the last PPV in CT was Vengeance, but I forgot the year lol. I want to go to another show We haven't had a PPV going on 10 years. I know the arenas are small, but they can easily sell out Bridgeport or Mohegan Sun if they bring a PPV to CT

I would definitely go to a PPV at Mohegan Sun! That could be a day trip LOL!! Bridgeport works too since I live about 20 minutes away.

...I already spent $356 on two plane tickets to go with my brother... Go there anyway and visit the EMP museum at the Seattle Centre. Cant reccommend it enough.

Okay I will say this, as much as I wasn't looking forward to the Daniel Bryan lovefest that was gonna be Extreme Rules, WWE instead decided to pick BY FAR the worst arena possible for this show. The last time the Izod Center got a pay-per-view, they gave us No Way Out in 2012, which to me is still above and beyond the worst crowd I have ever witnessed for a WWE show. Don't expect the post-Mania New Jersey crowd because they had nothing to do with New Jersey, THIS will be the real New Jersey crowd and it's gonna suck

Did Dave Meltzer actually say that the PPV was going to be in Seattle and Daniel Bryan was the whole reason behind that decision, or was something he said taken out of context? I don't think it's going to matter, as far as how people react to hearing it.

Izod Center is out near Metlife Stadium, in the Meadowlands, and nearly impossible to reach via public transportation, unless by some miracle the Meadowlands NJ Transit line is running to the stadium on the same day as an arena event. Prudential Center is in downtown Newark, right by NJ-Penn Station, a huge train/transportation hub.
My point? Expect a family-heavy, suburban, car-driving kind of audience.

Being in Izod makes it much more likely I'll be there because I have a friend in LI and usually visit/go to shows when they're held at Izod. I hope Raw is at Nassau or that Brooklyn place.

Hmm, I may have to consider going to this because Extreme Rules shows tend to be better than Mania. Plus I have never actually been to a WWE show in my home state before.

It makes sense from their schedule. The week before they're in Missouri and the week after they're in South Carolina. So Washington would be way out of their way. After next week's LA show and the week after and Denver they're not going west at all for a long while.

They'll cheer and boo whoever the WWE wants. Which is not crap on Nashville fans--they just don't tend to stir the pot at all.

Where did the Seattle rumor come from? If it's from Meltzer it's well worth people remembering for future reference just how wrong and how often he is on PPV venue predictions. Old copies of the Observer are full of statements about some event being in such and such arena and you look back and laugh at how wrong it was.

Where did the Seattle rumor come from? If I remember right it came from people sending in reports to PWInsider about their being ads for it taking place in Seattle.
