Bring that to Nashville! We haven't had a ppv since 2002! We'll fill out the arena and cheer the hell out of * DANIEL BRYAN as much as you want!! You have my personal guarantee *insert CM Punk, John Cena, Batista, Randy Orton, Shield, Wyatt Family, Mr. McMahon, etc. so long we get that ppv! Preach it, Brother. I mean, I know our crowds. They'll cheer and boo whoever the WWE wants. Which is not crap on Nashville fans--they just don't tend to stir the pot at all. I wasn't at this previous Raw is Country but the CM Punk chants came through tv pretty good. The last Raw I was at had the Ryback/CM Punk contract signing and Ryback was super over babyface. I just want to go to a ppv dammit!

Where did the Seattle rumor come from? If it's from Meltzer it's well worth people remembering for future reference just how wrong and how often he is on PPV venue predictions. Old copies of the Observer are full of statements about some event being in such and such arena and you look back and laugh at how wrong it was. And people are now basically mad at the WWE for Meltzer being wrong. But you make a good point, it's always important to consider the source and the source's history when talking about news, and while Meltzer seems connected on some things, his predictions on arenas is iffy at best.

I don't think CT is getting a PPV for a long long time. The last one we had was WWE Vengeance 2004 at the then Hartford Civic Center(now XL Center).

As far as areas not getting PPVs goes, I still wonder what exactly changed with WWE and Canada. Since the infamous SummerSlam 2004 PPV in Toronto, WWE has held exactly 2 PPVs in Canada: Unforgiven 2006 in Toronto and Breaking Point 2009 in Montreal. Seems especially odd considering there are a lot of big cities in Canada with arenas they could probably fill up pretty easily.

I don't understand....... ......Why would anyone willingly go to New Jersey? People be hating on our top ranked educational system, clearly marked and comparatively well-maintained roads, superior shore destinations, acres of hiking trails, and the fact that you can live and play in Jersey City for a fraction of what it costs to go to Manhattan. Other than that, we all suck, duh. ...Actually, to be fair, Izod Center does pretty much suck.

Izod Center is out near Metlife Stadium, in the Meadowlands, and nearly impossible to reach via public transportation, unless by some miracle the Meadowlands NJ Transit line is running to the stadium on the same day as an arena event. Prudential Center is in downtown Newark, right by NJ-Penn Station, a huge train/transportation hub. My point? Expect a family-heavy, suburban, car-driving kind of audience. Didn't they run the train from that arena the night after mania? And there wouldn't have been anything on in the stadium that night as they would have still been dismantling 'mania. only reason I know the train was running that night was because there was a video on youtube of everyone fandangoing on the train from the arena.

Okay I will say this, as much as I wasn't looking forward to the Daniel Bryan lovefest that was gonna be Extreme Rules, WWE instead decided to pick BY FAR the worst arena possible for this show. The last time the Izod Center got a pay-per-view, they gave us No Way Out in 2012, which to me is still above and beyond the worst crowd I have ever witnessed for a WWE show. Don't expect the post-Mania New Jersey crowd because they had nothing to do with New Jersey, THIS will be the real New Jersey crowd and it's gonna suck Wasn't that the show where the crowd chanted for "Sheamus?"

Well I'm stoked. I enjoyed going to see my friend for No Way Out and Wrestlemania, happy to have another one this year. I hope the Raw is in Brooklyn.

Last year I managed to visit both Oregon and New Jersey. It's awkward when there's this person who's like oh I have to pump your gas and then you're obligated to tip. I guess I'm just a cheapskate but I'd much rather pump my own gas (which I manage in the cold by locking the handle and then going in the store while it pumps) than feel guilted into tipping for an unnecessary and unwanted service.

I watch wrestling for the wrestling, and not the goofy shit smarky crowds do lately.
