gimmicks, storylines, teams, you name it... who/what should've been given more a chance? i was a huge dudebusters fan for the short time they had on the main roster. devastated when they released croft out of nowhere, and then completely dropped the ball on barreta, who had (and still has) all the potential in the world. the indies are better for it, but i really wish they had been given more of a shot on a national stage. ONETWOTHREEFOUR!

Edge's "war on stupid". They could have run with that for months, considering how stupid things were around that time.

Big E's singlet. That thing needs at least 6 more inches in length.

Snitsky's hair.
He had some legs as a baby punting foot fetishist. Then one day he was just an ugly bore.

Billy and Chuck. Even if they revealed that the gay wedding turned out to be a publicity stunt, I think the two of them should have gone on a bit longer as a face team.
Matt Hardy. Even after cutting THAT promo, he was still massively over with the fans. While he did continue winning singles titles, I think he should've at the very least been a perennial contender like Kane or Big Show.
Rico. I preferred Rico's sorta kinda effeminate stylist persona and look over the glittery face paint, singlet. and offensively stereotypically gay gimmick. Hairstylist Rico had this air of badassery around him that I loved.

To me, the definitive answer here is the Jake Roberts/Randy Savage feud. Granted, what they did have was good enough to stand on its own, but it seems like a shame that they didn't get to do more with it.

Eddie Guerrero v SCSA...I remember the night on Raw where Eddie came out and out of no where starting calling out Austin...I think they followed that up a fight at a bar but the point being I was excited for where they were going and for whatever reason the feud didn't develope.
Hogan v Flair in the 90s when Flair showed up with the belt....this was the feud or dream match that people were dying for...could of been amazing
Road Warriors v Powers of Pain ...this isn't wwe but that was going to be an awesome feud....i remember when they had the bench press challenge and the PoP threw powder in LOD and kick their but setting the tone for a feud against two of the baddest teams in pro wrestling

I loved "Dashing" Cody Rhodes and Grotesque Cody but I really wish the Dashing gimmick lasted longer. I remember he barely had any feuds during that gimmick and only noticable thing he did was the sort lived team with D-Mac.

That short period in 2008 after Regal's suspension where RAW was total chaos. IIRC it only lasted two weeks and we ended up getting Mike Adamle as GM.

The WCW Invasion.
No, seriously. The actual invasion storyline as they initially booked it. With just WWF vs. WCW and both teams being made up of faces and heels. It lasted two weeks before they turned WCW into cartoonish heels and merged them with ECW because Vince panicked over the reactions in Tacoma.
Yet Daniel Bryan still doesn't have his WrestleMania main event spot.
