Rumor/Theory going around now saying that it's the work of Hoopa that explains why these plot important pokemon are just suddenly appearing. The random transporting hoop thingies give it merit, IMO.

Most of it seems so vague as to not be worth paying attention to. Some of it, like the demo coming to the US and being able to transfer items from it, we already knew, and the thing you mentioned is the only thing of substance to it.

So I failed another Nuzlocke. This time for Leafgreen. Couldn't even get past Lorelei in the elite four thanks to her slowbro and Lapras. I never realized bite in this game does jack shit for damage, even after five dragon dances by gyarados

I never realized bite in this game does jack shit for damage, even after five dragon dances by gyarados This is because Dark type moves (which Bite is) were still classified as only Special attacks in Gen 3, before the split to Physical/Special by move, and not by type, occurred. Since Dragon Dance only increases Attack and Speed, your Gyarados' Bite was getting zero buffs.

Well that explains a lot then. Should have checked that before hand
I'll keep that in mind next time I try to Nuzlocke through it.

Should have checked that before hand I'll keep that in mind next time I try to Nuzlocke through it. yeah the key to learning that special attack / attack split thing is typed based is to remember that all the eeveelutions types are special + dragon. In other words, water, fire, electricity, etc are special.

All the types on the left side column are Physical (yes, even Ghost), and all the types on the right side column are Special, excluding Fairy.

Okay, so are the promotional emails they send out every once in awhile the newsletter they're talking about having the demo code in? If so, I'm golden, but if not I need to get signed up for that quick.

Mega Glalie is good, given Glalie is f***ing awful as it is. (80 across the board is not that good a spread, even in NeverUsed, and Ice types aren't the easiest to use as it is, especially since NeverUsed has so much reason to see Stealth Rock usage)
Mega Steelix is pretty neat. I wonder if it will get some much needed attack boost, and how well it will stand up to Mega Aggron as a tank.

So, will every pokemon family eventually get a Mega Evolution in the future, or are they just getting the popular ones out of the way, then random ones like Glaile?

Steelix gets Sand Force as his ability, and his predicted stat distributions are Attack and Defense. He keeps his original typing
Glalie gets Refrigerate, loses the Rock Typing making it pure Ice, and it's planned boosts are Attack, Special Attack, and Speed
Not bad, Glalie's getting a good distribution but may be a bit of a glass cannon, but not bad, Steelix also seems like he will be a lot more usable in battle.
