I figure since this is the pokemon thread this may be the most appropriate place to post this. www.twitch.tv/twitchplayspokemonChaos and Pokemon together....and by that I mean watch or join if you want to with almost 25.000 people try and play pokemon all at the sametime. How they ever made out of palet town I will never know.

I think the more I think on it, the more I'm leaning toward that third team. It seems the most interesting and I've never really run with a team like it before. So, whenever I start X I'll probably use that one.
Also, I just managed to seriously rack up on the GTS. Got several Vivillon forms (including the Ocean one) and a shiny Poliwhirl. Also got a shiny Geodude the other night.
Edit: Unrelated, but it's a topic I just got reminded of talking to a friend, you have to like how there are Pokemon based on ice cream and keys (not complaining about them, just saying), but still no dolphin (no, Kyogre doesn't count). And as best I can recall there's no coyote or peacock either.
Further edit: Just picked up some more Vivillon forms (now I have twelve of them), a shiny Manectric, a shiny Drifblim, and a shiny Trevenant. Woo!

The Parasect one always fascinates me.
Also, does anyone know the name of the song playing through the video? I know I've heard it a million times, but I can't remember if it's from Gen I or II.
Never mind. Found it myself. It's the Team Rocket Hideout theme from G/S/C. That's a memory you'll never forget even over a decade later.
EDIT: Okay technically the one used in the video is from the HH/SS version. But I was just remembering based off of the one.

I have two Vivillons left to get, Icysnow and Sandstorm. Naturally nobody seems to be offering those for anything other than event Pokemon.
Speaking of, I hate that you can't trade events. Or at the very least, that you can ask for them.

So my GTS Vigilance paid off Scored me a Regigigas for a Delibird~ With sniping at the right time you can pick up some damn good stuff on the GTS. Picked up some more shinies off of there tonight myself - Nosepass, Tauros, and Durant. Still wanting a shiny Phantump. I found one I could've gotten the other night, but it wasn't holding an Everstone and I already had gotten the shiny Trevenant so I passed. Now I wish I had grabbed it and swung over to GameFAQs to offer to trade it for a Phantump with an Everstone.

I'm going to finish up my next team in X, then I'm considering Nuzlocking HeartGold, since I've already transferred everything off of it anyway. Oh, and my FC is 3995-7033-5521. So feel free to add me or whatever. Done Mine is 1306-6287-6335, and I give Excadrill, Magneton, and Klink Where are all of your Excadrills hiding?

So with like EVERY pokemon at my disposal, I can start over in my X version and send over anything as a "starter," which I want to do but can't think of anything.
Suggestions?

FINALLY got to battling the Elite Four. Half of them where pretty troublesome (Wikstrom, Drasna), the other half weren't much. Then came the Champ, Diantha. I was expecting a frustrating challenge, as I should be feeling. Mega Blastoise proceeds to sweep exactly half of her team without fainting. Goodra was close (thanks to like 4 f***ing Full Restores (4 Full Restores, Elite 4, I get it)), but Mega Blastoise hung in there. Aegislash survived a Shadow Ball from Mega Gardevoir, giving him a chance to get a single Swords Dance, before Shadow Sneaking his way for the win. I couldn't believe I beat her on the first try. It was a little underwhelming, but I'm just glad I completed the main game. Squirtle avatar is for the MVP, Mega Blastoise.

What about: Drapion, jumpluff, Ryhorn, Snover, Ninjask ,or phanpy. or! go to bulbapedia and click the random page button and go with the first none legendary, none starter, none fire/water/grass type.

I even got a Yveltal for a lugia.

Actually pretty decent, though it has this big issue where it can only really reliably use physical attacks and it mostly learns special ones early on.

I've always wanted to use a poison type, but they never seem worth it.

Whereas on my first playthrough of the Elite 4, Wikstrom was a complete joke once he got Probopass out there (Blaziken+Mega Stone+Power-Up Punch+Full Restore= Sweep). The only one I had trouble with was Siebold, mainly because I had no quick Pokemon that could take Gyarados. I also shared the same experience with Diantha. Mega Blaziken was able to wreck face, including one-shotting Mega Gardevoir with a Flare Blitz.

I've always wanted to use a poison type, but they never seem worth it. Depends on what you need. Tentacruel is a good one, as a fast special wall with decent offenses and good support options, and Nidoking, particularly with Sheer Force, is quite easy to use, given his hilariously robust movepool.

And of course Crobat - Zubat's terrible at first, but it becomes usable when it becomes Golbat and it should evolve again very soon after that.
