Just depressing really, either because they're saying what Vince wants them to hear (where have I heard that from?), or they generally believe that fans now have no right to chant for who they want to see.

I'm still hoping for Die Jerry Die chants to break out somewhere.

They are telling the paid audience to go away. And this is before raw I'm guessing where NOTHING is happening, what do they expect the crowd to sit on their hands and be quiet? Also before anyone uses the term, no this isn't "Hijacking" its just the crowd entertaining themselves before raw begins.

Seriously why do they hate the fans this much? You are NOTHING without your fans.

It's a video before the show where the fans are chanting "CM Punk" and Cole says "How about... go away." King then chants "go away, go away" at the fans while JBL laughs at how short the chant was.
I dunno how this footage came to be though.

I dunno how this footage came to be though. Knowing this... It sounds like they're trolling the fans who are trying to troll them. Fair game. Granted, I have to hear it myself before I decide if it was really mean-spirited or not.

Where does footage like this come from?
Is pre-show announcer snark one of the perks of the app?

Congrats guys, you've just taken another barrel of gasoline and poured it on the Chicago crowd for March 3rd. Brilliant.

Where does footage like this come from? Is pre-show announcer snark one of the perks of the app? This was from the sattelite feed, so, someone had to have recorded the entire feed and that's how they got it.

Shit, Cole's stepping up his game!
How will the WWE deal with their commentators making these vicious put-downs week on week?!

I can't watch the video. Summary, please. Crowd: "cm punk! cm punk! cm punk!" Cole: "oh there you go! that will drown out soon.." Jerry: "ha ha ha" JBL: "oh well.." cole: "how about, go away? go away.." Jerry mimics chanting: "go away! go away! go away! " Crowd goes silent Jerry: "that doesn't last long doesn't it?" JBL: "no it doesn't, there isn't not a lot of determination behind to that chant!" COle: *insert how many seats are sold out*

I don't think it's Vince telling them what to say as this was before the show began. It's just them being unprofessional really.

Does it even count as them being unprofessional if it's just three coworkers f***ing around and having no idea they are being recorded? I mean, it wasn't said during the show.

This makes my blue blood boil. I'd like to punch all 3 in the face and drown their balls in applesauce.

They clearly weren't totally off air. Surely as soon as they come to work they should be professionals. It's the same as when Andy Gray and Richard whatshisface were caught slagging off the female linewoman, or to give a much more extreme example it's like when Ron Atkinson called Marcel Desailly a lazy n*****. Just because they thought they weren't being recorded doesn't mean it's okay.

Nothing new, though I would LOVE for this thing to go viral big time.
I get that fans not supporting the narrative or chanting for someone who does technically work there must really annoy the announcers and execs. Yes, it would be preferable if they all chanted for Cena or Bryan exclusively (the only two babyfaces, really, that the company has), since that would allow them to go with either narrative that they have planned for (Cena is loved or you can't silence Daniel Bryan's fans, what a scrappy underdog he is).
If anything, THAT reaction puts to bed the idea that "Vince is working to get Punk back". If they wanted him back bad enough, the reaction wouldn't be, essentially, "screw that guy and his idiot fans". That'd be like Vince working to get Sting in the company, the fans chanting for him, and we hear Lawler and Cole making jokes about WCW sucking and how pathetic the fans are and how they should just leave.
