Blackburn has been pretty much un-affected by 99% of the weather, that 1% may have actually improved the town a bit.

Saw a mini tornado in the sea at Brighton today, as you do!

Dammit, I'm close to Brighton, wish I could have seen that. Mind you the weather systems in our part of the Channel are always unpredictable 'cos of the IoW.

Saw a video of a miniature water spout off the coast of Brighton, crazy stuff. They were supposedly issuing tornado warnings near here, but I feel they were jumping the gun a bit, it's bad, but it's not that bad!

It's pretty bad here in Cork. I live in an uphill area so it isn't too bad for me but I know a lot of people who have no electricity and a lot of the shops in the city got wrecked. Jesus dude, you guys have had a shit run of weather/floods so far this year. Nothing major where I am in Meath. Thankfully our town is mostly on a hill, so we don't usually get major flood damage. The biggest problem so far is the rainwater on the roads freezing overnight and the occasional bout of snow. The roads will be destroyed though after this all clears.

I live in Surrey near Gatwick Airport and we've had our fair share of floods here but I haven't personally been affected too badly as other parts of Surrey have. We did have a few roads closed here and I couldn't take my car home one night because my road was blocked off. But compared to Somerset we've been pretty lucky. I just hope you don't get any next month as I'm due to fly from there and if you could also back off from the Edinburgh/Dunfurmline/Falkirk area of Scotland as well as I don't want my Driving Experience at Knockhill Racetrack getting cancelled

Thankfully, the only bad thing to happen to me was my Sky dish getting blown away
