It wasn't our board, it was the Wrestling Classics board.

Someone should ask Meltzer or a historian this question. Dale Gagner/Gagne wasn't running his shows until the late 90s, as far as I know. 1994 probably was not him. The article mentions that Dale Gagner was trying to leech off the AWA name as far back as 1990 when the company was still around and Verne fired him for it. So the shows could have been Dale I guess. However, you could be completely right and I'd prefer to think it was someone associated with Verne. That way the AWA technically had a few shows after most think it had died and it's one less shitty thing Dale did to tarnish the AWA name.

Those shows were run by Greg Gagne. I seem to remember they ran a few than advertised a free show and way more showed up than could fit in the room.I seem to remember lots of people were angry that they couldn't get into the show.

Verne ran some cards at Minneapolis casinos: From 1994,
American Wrestling Association Dec. 18 at the Treasure Island Casino in Minnesota, the AWA held their second four-match card for free for patrons of the casino. Mike Enos pinned Buck Zumhoff, Erik Watts pinned Wayne Bloom when Mike Enos interfered, Bobby Darren & Karate Kid beat Little Tokyo & Cowboy Lance, and Larry Zbyszko pinned Tito Santana when special referee Nick Bockwinkel made the three count. Lots of restholds throughout, especially in the main event. About 345 were in attendance. Verne Gagne was in attendance behind the scenes.
From 1995,
American Wrestling Association Jan. 22 at Treasure Island Casino in Minnesota (375), Jerry Lynn wrestled J.B. Trask to a draw (Lynn was pinning Trask as the time limit expired, although the three count should have fit in before the bell rang), The Evil Clown pinned Randy Gusto, Candi Devine pinned Peggy Lee Leather to retain the AWA Treasure Island Womens Title, and Larry Zbyszko defeated Wahoo McDaniel.
From 1994,
Jan. 22, Verne Gagne promoted a guaranteed show paid for by Treasure Island Casino in Red Wing, Minn. Attendance was free and the show, which was heavily advertised in the local papers in the preceding week, was used to draw new customers to the highly competitive casino industry in Minnesota. An estimated 700 were allowed to enter the facility before they closed the doors, turning away hundreds, many of whom went next door to gamble.
Steve "The Viking" Berg beat Randy Gust, "Mean" Mike Enos beat Baron Von Raschke, Larry Zbyszko beat Repoman, and Jim Brunzell & B. Brian Blair beat The Texas Hangmen in the four-match, one hour card.
These were the last cards from 1991: 1) Greg Gagne & Wahoo McDaniel def. Mike Enos & Wayne Bloom, when Gagne pinned Enos (possible AWA Tag Team Title Change )
2) Larry Cameron def. Tommy Jammer
3) Steve O def. Ricky Rice
4) Buck Zumhofe def. Johnny Love
5) The Karate Kid def. Tokyo Joe.
5/2/91 Bemiji Wahoo McDaniel & Baron Von Raschke beat Wayne Bloom & Mike Enos Larry Cameron ddq Tommy Jammer Ricky Rice beat Jamie Magnum Karate Kid beat Little Tokyo Buck Zumhofe beat Johnny Love att: 450

In small defence of Dale Gagner, his password sounds like something I would do just to amuse myself (I'm most certainly not racist, but I like shock humour) or it might have just been he would certainly remember that his password was N-word. It's not like his account name was DALE GAGNER AND I HATE N-WORDS (EVERYBODY when shown on TV).
Unless of course Dale has previous bad history in regards to other races, in which case ignore my point. He's still a carny, regardless.
