gotta love when people try capitalizing on an internet meme long after it stopped mattering.

One of these days I must sit down and write out the script for Sharkaconda so I can sell it to SyFy for an obscene amount of money.

Andy Dick and Kelly Osbourne? It was a fun movie while it lasted, I guess.

How the HELL did they get Vivica A. Fox in this? It's not like she's been doing much for the best part of the last decade.

Am I the only one who wishes The Asylum would go away?
It was funny the first couple of times they released some crappy "so bad it's fun" movies and lame rip-offs of popular movies. Now they've actually gone beyond beating a dead a horse.

Now they've actually gone beyond beating a dead a horse. I agree completely. It saddens me seeing some of my favourite actors performing in Asylum films. I know they have to pay the bills as much as the next guy, but like wrestling legends who end up working backwater indies in front of ten people you just know they're not being paid a whole lot.

The Asylum's great. Making a lot of money out of something that costs next to nothing. American Dream.
Plus they've run Uwe Boll (who from all accounts is a massive ads with delusions of grandeur) out of that same niche

I can't hate The Asylum because I just watched American Warship witch was at least 17 times better than Battleship... and Mario Van freakin Peebles out-acted the entire cast of Battleship.
OH, and Carl Weathers

I like Leon Thomas' take on why Asylum should be around. They also, occasionally, have some good stuff put out too. Sure the budgetary contraints show, but some of them have been entertaining at least.

Asylum was much better before they realised they sucked.
Stuff is only so bad it's good when it's accidentally bad (like early Asylum) or designed to be bad, making it funny (Black Dynamite, Garth Marenghi).
