It is time for Rey to go into the hall of fame. He has had a great career and put on many amazing matches but his knees just seem like they cant take it anymore.

FOR F***'S SAKE, DON'T LET HIM GET BACK IN THE RING, WWE.
...then again, if they'd fire him, he'd just go to TNA or Mexico where they don't care, and he'd repeat the cycle without WWE's medical coverage.

Your knee's hurt enough man, please retire! Three surgeries aren't enough, man, Rey needs five.

Love Rey Rey, but for his own good, retire. Or take a year or two out.

Love Rey Rey, but for his own good, retire. Or take a year or two out. He took a year off between SummerSlam 2011 and 2012 and he was still injured within a few months. He just needs to hang it up, he just isn't capable of wrestling anymore.

He should either retire or move into doing something like ambassador for WWE kind of work. He is popular with kids, can speak two languages, and has recognition with fans. I just don't want to watch him Sid in the ring or something, his legs are just so f***ed up. Yeah, I don't want Rey to play sloppy bass guitar or get hooked on dope and carve GIMME A FIX into his chest either. In all srsness, it's time for him to move on already. One of my all time favorites, but dude, c'mon. It's over.

Rey has two options. 1. Retire 2. ?? Really, his returns aren't good for anything anymore. He comes back, wrestles for three weeks, gets injured again, sits out eight months to a year. Just make him a Spanish language ambassador, make him an agent backstage, whatever.... just keep him out of the ring.

This is a good point. It's obvious Rey doesn't want to retire. If WWE won't let him wrestle, he'll just go to TNA where he can cripple himself and have no-one in management even bat an eye.

Or worse, AAA. He thinks his legs are bad now, just wait until the first time he has surgery done in a Tijuana back alley.

I don't think I have anything to add here that anybody else hasn't already said really. At some point Vince needs to step in here and say to Rey enough is enough. I just don't know whether Rey will make this decision himself.

One of my all time favorites, but dude, c'mon. It's over. Have him bump heads with some kids in the rows, hand out masks, tell everyone how there is going to be a great show tonight, etc, and then head to the back. Maybe, maybe, do a final match with someone who can cover for him a lot, like Heath, and just retire.

Seriously, Rey? Work one program a year. Only do important matches, maybe 1 Raw and 1 SD and 1 PPV. Do this for a few more years. Then retire and hope you can walk when you get older. Trying to work the WWE schedule with his style and his knee problems will cripple him.

Soon, 619 will mean the number of knee surgeries Mysterio has had.

When you get to a point where you would trade knees with Greg Oden, you probably need to retire
