You're only 19. Don't go around saying you're old.

One of my favourite wrestling memories. God, I feel old. Yeah, you're at that age now where everything start going south. Better get a cane and some adult diapers, grandma.

Man I still get chills from that. I was, well still am, a massive Brock fan but there was no way I going for him that night. Such an amazing match and moment.

It was a foregone conclusion that Eddie was just keeping Brock busy til he was going to defend the belt against Goldberg at Mania. how things changed.

I remember being shocked at 14 Eddie Guerrero was on the cover of the No Way Out Poster, I was shocked he became the number one contender and I had a feeling he may actually win, I was really shocked he won and I was so happy that one of my favorites became the WWE Champion. I always thought of him being the one who broke the glass ceiling that anyone talented and over could become WWE Champion no matter of size or ethnicity or your spot on the card 4 years ago and if you were released or not. Such a truly heart warming moment that still makes me smile and gives me chills. I really miss Eddie

It was a foregone conclusion that Eddie was just keeping Brock busy til he was going to defend the belt against Goldberg at Mania. how things changed. I don't remember thinking that was going to happen at all... Mainly since the two were on different shows and they tended to keep the brand split pretty self contained at that point.

Possibly the single most beautiful moment in wrestling, even if Eddie's death gives it a bittersweet quality.
Only bigger feel-good moment I can think of is Foley winning the belt.

It was a foregone conclusion that Eddie was just keeping Brock busy til he was going to defend the belt against Goldberg at Mania. how things changed. I'm not so sure on that. I mean they did book a no.1 contenders match for the WWE title at mania between Angle/Cena/Show at No way out as well so that wouldn't make sense if they wanted to do Bork vs Goldberg for the title. So I think it was obvious Eddie was winning in hindsight but that doesn't make it any less of a beautiful moment.

For me this is the moment when the WWE hit its peak. Not from a box office numbers or popularity but for me as a fan nothing could top this moment. The next month was even better but not any more for obvious reasons.
I thought Eddie was going to win and face Angle but even still I was on the edge of my seat all match and I stayed up till 4am to watch Eddie win the big one. Superb match too from two fantastic workers.
Also I need to mention Michael Cole. I think he's terrible, but during this one moment the man was brilliant. "It's a different kind of high tonight for Eddie Guerrero. Eddie Guerrero gets his redemption. Eddie Guerrero has exorcised his demons." One of my favourite calls ever. It gives me chills and makes me cry.

You're only 19. Don't go around saying you're old. Old is when you're close to 40 and got more grey hair than black. Dude's breath still smells like Similac.

I just don't think, until the very moment it happened, any of us was certain that they were going to for sure pull the trigger on Eddie. It was such a genuine happy surprise a month after he made Chavo look like a million bucks. I was actually at a Micranots concert that night, so I didn't catch it live. But then the next morning, I had to be up particularly early for school and checked the old WWF AOL boards for results and read that Eddie won the title. I thought that, for sure, that couldn't be right, so I went to the wwe website to confirm and, sure enough, Eddie had the belt. Seeing a stream of the footage of the celebration was heartwarming. I do think that Brock-Eddie was one of the best matches of that decade and should be the bar for how a "big man vs. little man" match should be booked. Absolutely every second mattered. That was at the Cow Palace too, right? I always felt the fans there were an underrated crowd and usually dependable to make great moments like this really special.
