Granted, it was Gordon's fault. Or more likely, his spotter's fault. Didn't tell him that he wasn't clear of the No. 2.

I'm no fan of Keselowski, and only a minor Gordon fan, but I can't place any blame on Brad. But apparently he's a dipshit for, like, trying to pass people and stuff.

Well he's a dipshit for the other crap he pulled earlier in the Chase, but this time, it was a racing incident. That being said, I love a good fight in NASCAR. Makes things more fun. Like hockey.

That was the one thing I hated about the skirmish, it gave Eddie Gossage his marketing for the next 5 years is taken care of.

NASCAR is so desperate for ratings during NFL season that they'll condone this crap and let everyone off with just a slap on the wrist.
You want better ratings, they shouldn't make the NASCAR last 10 months. This just makes NASCAR look like a joke and disgrace...

Honestly I'm getting really bored with the excess of fights in NASCAR lately. It's happening way too frequently to the point that all it's doing is feeding the "NASCAR = Wrestling = Fake and Gay" crowd. Seriously, showing a personality is fine but half of this stuff is looking like what would have happened if Vince McMahon founded a racing series instead of the XFL back when.

Considering who got fined a few weeks back and who didn't, I would say at best a slap on the wrist for all involved (and some probations as well). Well... I wasn't exactly right. Four suspensions were handed out as follows: Dwayne Doucette and Jason Ingle (#24) as well as Jeremy Fuller (#5) have all been suspended for the next six points races (out until Fontana next year) and fined $25,000 for their actions. Dean Monzingo (#24) has been suspended for the next three points races (out until Atlanta next year) and fined $10,000 as well. Also, Kenny Francis (crew chief of #5) and Alan Gustafson (crew chief of #24) both received fines of $50,000 and are on probation until Fontana next year for not controlling their crews. No points were deducted from any of the drivers involved.

F1 news Marussia have ceased trading and all staff (200+) will be made redundant. Elements of Marussia management still hope to return to F1 next season and have applied for entry to next year's world championship under the name of Manor F1, the team's original guise. link - BBC - (includes a bit by Eddie Jordan on why he thinks all the new teams have failed) Sauber have signed Marcus Ericsson (Caterham) and Felipe Nasr (Williams reserve driver) for next year - sky sportsJules Bianchi remains in a critical but stable condition according to an update on 30th October at Marussia's websiteNothing official on Alonso going to Mclaren, but it's looking likely that it will happen and Button could be leaving F1.

The last chance has arrived. No one has a guaranteed spot going into the championship race, so all 8 drivers have to avoid making errors, as even one tiny mistake can cost them. Which 4 drivers will be going to Miami with a championship in mind? The time has come to find out race FANs, so reach up and pull those belts tight ONE MORE TIME!!!!!!!

Race 25% complete - Harvick leads Race 50% complete - Harvick leads. Biggest change that happened was Loganos position. Pit stop penalty took away a nice comfy point lead and now he's shuffling between being in and being out.
