Tonight's RAW is live from Denver (EEEEEENIS!), and we're one week away from both the Elimination Chamber PPV and the launch of the WWE Network.
In tonight's main event, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton faces the last of his Elimination Chamber opponents, the Celtic Warrior Sheamus. Orton has only defeated Christian so far in his series, so a win against Sheamus is vital to prove a point ahead of Sunday night in Minneapolis.
And what of the other Chamber participants? Daniel Bryan will continue to try and be the face of the company, John Cena will make more bad jokes, Cesaro will swing his way to the top, and Christian will try to avoid getting a blue dot put on his face.
The epic battle between The Shield and The Wyatt Family is just six days away. Who will leave RAW with the upper hand? Choose your side. Do you Believe in The Shield, or will you Follow the Buzzards?
Ahead of his challenge for the WWE World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania XXX, Batista has ended up in a side distraction with Alberto Del Rio. What will the writers come up with that will make people think that Del Rio has a remote chance of winning at the Chamber PPV?
Plus other stuff, and does Eva Marie make this show? This, plus Network hype, tonight from 8/7c!

This is the first live event I'll get to see in like 15 years. Hope it's not as awful as it was the last time Raw was in Denver and we were "treated" to a Cole/King match, ugh.

I think Orton has to win tonight so I can take him semi-seriously against Batista at Mania. When the best you can beat one-on-one is Christian...

Looking at the stats, I believe WWE haven't done TV from Denver very often...
April 23rd 2001 - RAW April 24th 2001 - SmackDown August 23rd 2001 - SmackDown September 16th 2002 - RAW July 27th 2003 - Vengeance 2003 May 26th 2008 - RAW July 9th 2012 - RAW and SmackDown
Of course, they were meant to have the May 25th 2009 RAW, but we know what happened there.

Denver has had the revelation of Hornswoggle as anonymous GM and the first Million Dollar Mania. I feel sorry for the city.
To be fair, you did get Vengeance 03.

What happened in May 2009 to not have RAW In Denver? The NBA scheduled one of the games in the Denver Nuggets/Los Angeles Lakers Western Conference Finals series to take place at the Pepsi Center that day, when RAW had the day booked. Vince entered into a battle with Pepsi Center management, the Nuggets and the NBA to try and get the game moved so RAW could keep its booking (the NHL unless it's the Stanley Cup Final usually respects existing bookings), but the NBA wouldn't budge, and a few days before the show, WWE moved the taping to the Staples Center in Los Angeles, and used the show to bury Denver and the Nuggets ownership.

Ah, yes. Let us never forget EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENIS!That was also the last appearance of Mr. Kennedy in the WWE.

It did give us the validation of seeing Batista making his way down the ring with basketball in hand.

There's four faces, one heel that's probably gonna turn face real soon, and one actual heel, so I dunno how they'd do a six-man tag match with that set-up.
