All this talk of Cesaro, and how invested I was in his match with Cena recently, made me realise my view on him as totally changed. I used to think he was hugely dull and generic but now I'm scrambling aboard the Cesaro train.
I did a similar thing with Ziggler whereas with Kofi I went the other way. So what wrestlers has everyone else completely changed their opinion on?

Reigns, Cody Rhodes both for the better.
Ziggler for the worse.

Funnily enough i'd say Jack Swagger. Loved him when he started, he'd came out doing the gorilla dance down the ramp and had personality, soured when he went SRS BSNSS as World Champ and went on that losing streak. But his team with Cesaro and Zeb is turning me back, it just seems a shame that that team is looking quite short-term now.

Cena. Used to hate him now appreciate him for what he is. Without him around the show lacks star power.

Del Rio. Loved his debut and his first few matches. I specifically remember saying to my friend "This is the kind of a heel WWE needs! He gets stuff done!"
Now I hate him, like everybody else.
Ziggler went the other way. I found him really annoying and didn't thing his ring work was enough to match the position he was in on the card (this was around the time he did that terrible promo with Pat Patterson). I specifically remember hoping he'd be fired for that. Love the dude now.

Wade Barrett for the worse. I liked stuff he did before BNB, but now he's in the "ADR, Swagger, Kane, Big Show, Rey - Please GTFO" group.

Del Rio. Loved his debut and his first few matches. I specifically remember saying to my friend "This is the kind of a heel WWE needs! He gets stuff done!" Now I hate him, like everybody else. Same. I loved heel Del Rio, then thought he was okay (post Mania 27), then lost interested (2012), then loved him again (first few weeks of face turn), then lost interest (Del Rio beats every heel every week), and now I hate him (heel turn and title reign). I initially hated Bo Dallas, mostly for his dumb looking face, but the second he started his new character I was fully on BOard. I didn't like Titus O'Neil at all on NXT Season 2 or the beginning of NXT: Redemption, but once he turned heel, he became entertaining and seemed to learn a lot by teaming with D. Young. I wasn't sold on the Bray Wyatt character at first. The first few promos he did with it on FCW came off to me like a kid doing a monologue in high school. But man, he really got into the f***ing thing and now I'm a huge fan.

For the better: Tommy Dreamer- at first he didn't do much for me, I didn't quite "get" his ring work and I thought his whole "I am the spirit of ECW" thing was hokey. Now he's one of my favorites, he just comes off as a super likable guy and he played a great babyface. Hulk Hogan- never really disliked him, but overtime I saw how good he was with working crowds and how much of himself he sacrificed. John Cena- See Hogan, only more athletic.
For the worse: Del Rio- I gotta admit, my feelings on him have followed the general consensus. I was super excited for his potential and really into him at first, but even though he has gotten stuck with some dull storylines he's exposed himself as being really awful when it comes to improvising.
In the middle: Wade Barrett- He did a great job during the heat of the Cena feud, then he got kinda bleh and seemed to be phoning in stuff during Barrett Barrage, and now I'm starting to come around to him again with BNB but I've soured on him as a "definite main eventer".

Changed for the Better: Ryback. Good God Ryback. I used to hate this guy with a burning passion, but around the time he started kidnapping jobbers and throwing them into an ambulance, I started to rethink my stance on him, and now he's one of my favorites. Jack Swagger. Almost entirely because of The Real Americans, and to an extent, the solo run as the Real American prior to it.
Changed for the Worse: Alberto Del Rio. I used to love this guy, but they just keep throwing accolades onto him and the fact is none of it means a damn thing. He's got his mannerisms down pat, and he's a great wrestler but he's almost unfathomably boring and heatless, to the point where I feel the Conway Pop should be renamed the Del Rio Pop.

For the better: Bryan and Cesaro. For as much as some people want to bitch about them just being indy darlings and only ROH fans and nerds in general liking them, I have never seen a full ROH show in my life and the limited amount of stuff I saw from both dudes prior to their time in the WWE bored me. I like them BECAUSE of their WWE runs and have only become fans of them since then, and imagine a lot of other people are in my same boat.
Also, Fandango. I didn't see why everyone was making such a fuss about him and thought the Fandango gimmick was stupid, but damned if he hasn't made it work. Love the guy and the gimmick now.

I disliked Cesaro when he was doing the stuff with Aksana, but since then I've been enjoying him. He's one of my favorites at the moment now.
I can't pinpoint the exact moment I started liking Cena, but his Extreme Rules match against Lesnar had something to do with it. I felt the Rock/Ryback/Orton stuff was dreadful, but I enjoy watching the guy most of the time.
I had been uninterested in Wyatt since their attack on R-Truth, but that segment with Bryan in the cage really sold me on him and now he's a guy I watch for. The Shield/Wyatt feud is just making me like him even more.
CM Punk, when he was around, was an interesting case for me. More often than not I enjoyed seeing him out there, but he would have his moments where I just wouldn't be able to stand him.

Swagger.
I'm still not 100% behind him as a fan, but they guy has skills. Dude knows how to work a match. He's solid in the ring with a very technical style. Problem? His gimmick sucks and has given the fans absolutely zero reasons why we should care about him.

Ziggler. Couldn't stand him when he was introducing himself to everyone. Took quite a while, & it was gradual, but eventually I became a fan. It's funny though, because I'm slowly starting to revert back to my original opinion of him. He, like many others, is stale right now. He needs something to get him back on track, I'm just not sure what they could do.
Cody too. He was bland as bland could get, & was an over-acter. He's gotten A LOT better IMO.

A couple of years ago I did a massive 180 on Bully Ray and Mark Henry. I'm usually pretty steadfast with who I like and I dislike but I went from wanting both guys to retire because they bored me to tears to fully endorsing both as World Champions.
