With next weeks Elimination Chamber PPV being the first one on one match featuring Dave Batista since his return. Considering his less than stellar conditioning during his relatively short stint (12-13 mins) during the Rumble, can he last on his own for a similar, or longer period of time.
It's no question that Del Rio will probably die during the match. The bigger question is how long do you predict the match will last?

I have the feeling, just given the way this feud's been booked, it's going to be spear, not-Batista Bomb since he apparently can't do it properly anymore, pin.

With any luck, due to a rip in the space-time continuum, it'll go into negative territory.
By the time it's over, we'll have time back that we'd previously wasted watching boring Del Rio segments and Batista's 2014 run will never have happened.

Well it's the match the WWE Universe have been waiting for, so hopefully both bring their best and we have a 20 minute mat classic.
Seriously though, long enough for me to make a coffee and take a piss will suffice, I hope the live crowd shit all over it immediately though.

Just under 10 minutes. They have to fill time on this PPV somehow. They'll have plenty of time to fill with Shield/Wyatts and the Chamber. And of course, the other actually good matches on the card. |

One of the many reasons I think there is no way Batista is wrestling one-one-one at Wrestlemania - aside from the fact that the crowd is not going to respond well to it - is that Batista simply will not be physically capable of it, given the shape he is in. Growth hormones can make you look (bloated) good but they can't get you into ring shape.

I will give Dave the benefit of the doubt that he will be in much better ring shape by the time Mania comes around. In good enough ring shape to put on a classic match with Randy Orton whilst the crowd chant for Daniel Bryan? No. But at least good enough to last a 20-30min match without collapsing in an asthmatic ball of wheeze. I think a circa 10 minute work out for him is what to expect at Elimination Chamber. Enough to give him a decent run out, but not enough to expose his lack of fitness at this stage. |

I think they'll go for a regular 10-15 match, even though all the build so far should make it done and dusted within a couple mins instead.

If he is meant to main event Mania, he has to be able to work a long match. Maybe if this ends up being f***ing terrible, if WWE hasn't already decided to insert Bryan into the main they will after this.

I still believe that this match will be the biggest heist the world has ever seen. While Batista vs Del Rio goes on for atleast 30 minutes every viewer at home falls asleep and the WWE jobbers break into every home and steal all your money.
