Raw After Mania's got some not surprising edits. Most tragically, the f*** THAT OWL chant is gone from the Hardys vs. Gallows and Anderson match. "Asshole" chants though were still in Roman's segment though, despite them not even putting Language in the rating bumper.

Not sure if this was mentioned earlier but oddly enough Scott Hall's Wolfpac theme at Souled Out 99 is dubbed over with the nWo Black & White theme, even though Luger uses it earlier in the show.

The Nov. 29th, 1986 episode of NWA Championship Wrestling has a huge chunk in the middle cut out, losing:
-A confrontation between the Armstrongs (Bullet Bob and Brad) and Superstar Bill Dundee & Gorgeous Jimmy Garvin where the latter hit Bullet Bob with a garbage can. That tussle set up the main event of that episode which is especially weird since they mention that confrontation, leaving the viewer of the network version confused about when that did happen. -A Shaska Whatley match. -Some other match -The recap of Starrcade 1986
Strange that they cut that stuff out since nothing about that seems particularly sensitive to WWE standards.

It was probably not done on purpose. There are several shows on the Network that fade to black for a commercial and resume later in the program. The most notable is Clash of Champions VI. JR says after Reed/JYD that Murdoch/Orton is up next, and they show a bumper for it. The show then skips that match and the next two after it, going straight to the next-to-last match of the show. A few of them have been fixed (the Aug. 7, 1995 Raw episode was missing a Kama squash match when the episode was first uploaded), but many have not.

Goldberg has his WCW theme in the 2004 Royal Rumble.
Why have they seemingly disowned his WWE theme which was much better?

Starrcade 1986, everyone else has dub jobs but they completely remove Jimmy Valiant's entrance. Valiant's music starts to play then they abrupt cut to him and Paul Jones already in the ring.

At SummerSlam 2000, they bleep out the first instance of JR calling Tazz a son of a bitch, but not the ones that follow.

They had Johnston make a knock off to avoid royalties even for his DVD. Using it for his WWE matches now is unnecessary editing!

They have recently done some edits to shows that have been up on the Network for years. - On WCW Mayhem 2000, they've cut the ending from a Crowbar backstage segment because he started singing "Stayin' Alive." It originally was left intact. - On many WCW PPVs, some of the Jimmy Hart soundalike themes (but not all, at least not yet) that were left intact in 2014 when the Network began and were replaced on the Monday Nitro episodes that were added later have now been replaced on the PPVs, too. - Rick Rude's dubbed theme on ECW shows is now the same dubbed theme he has on WWE shows. Until the last few weeks, his dubbed theme on ECW was his 1987-88 WWE theme ( www.youtube.com/watch?v=IiUffiVnkWs). I'd like to know why WWE has become so cautious about soundalike themes. They didn't care in the Classics On Demand days when they would use, for example, DDP's "Self High Five" theme with no problem. Plus, even though they've cracked down on using ripoffs, they still use them as long as they're done by Jim Johnston (Taz's dubbed theme on 1997-99 ECW and Shane Douglas's dubbed theme on 2000-01 WCW, for instance).

With all this replacement, i'm surprised Jericho's 96-97 WCW theme has remained intact.

The dub-over for the epic promo for Shawn-Taker Mania 26 is total garbage. Thank God the real version with Running Up That Hill is on YT.

Damaged tape? I don't know. I do remember this episode oddly enough. Even remember what I did that evening (think we went out to eat just as the Armstrongs match was to begin)

Yeah, but it's the instrumental version of an actual song: www.youtube.com/watch?v=0VbkxsUaYpsSpeaking of knockoff themes, have they replaced Jeff Jarrett's Cho-cho-chosen one theme? Thats such a blatant copy of Cowboy that im surprised Kid Rock didnt sue.

On Clash of the Champions X: Texas Shootout, The Four Horsemen's entrance music is different. The Ric Flair collection includes the moment when they kicked Sting out of the group, and I noticed that when they walk to the ring, there is no commentary. I know that the original broadcast included comments from Jim Ross and Jim Cornette, because WWE included the segment on Flair's first DVD compilation. WWE also replaced the music for The Samoan Swat Team. Not a big surprise there, since they used the theme from Halloween.
