Oh, that is just tragic. That's one of the all time great hype videos. Ironically the epic music left for when Shawn gets the match the night after the Chamber is left intact. I don't get this. What don't you get about it?

Fortunately Colorful by The Verve Pipe for Shawn's farewell tribute was NOT dubbed over.

Then it's probably original WWE-owned music and not dubbed over.

Wasnt Russo's Iron Man knockoff the same version the Road Warriors used, only with the "we are iron men" line removed?

No, that one was made by an unknown source specifically for the Road Warriors around 1988. The versions used by Russo and by Road Warrior Animal in 2001 were all done by Jimmy Hart.

Could somebody who has watched the 1996-1997 Nitros tell if Chris Benoit is edited out? I have heard a rumor that the Network uploaded the 24/7 versions from 2007 for those shows where they edited him out.

Just to recap:
Backlash 2002 Bad Blood 2003 Vengeance 2003 SummerSlam 2003 Royal Rumble 2004 Vengeance 2005
PPV card rundowns are missing entirely.
The themes for Invasion, Royal Rumble 2002, No Way Out 2002, Survivor Series 2003, Royal Rumble 2007, No Way Out 2007, Backlash 2007, SummerSlam 2007, and Armageddon 2008 are also still censored.
Rude's theme was their version of "The Stripper" by David Rose. I knew something was up when I didn't hear the song at the Hall Of Fame this year. Now the song has been censored on all of Rude's matches. Billionaire McMahon is a cheap sack of sh**.

On the 3/3/98 Episode of Nitro, Davey Boy Smith's WCW Theme is dubbed with his WWE Theme, but his WCW theme was heard all of the previous times he wrestled on Nitro.

Re: Rick Rude's music getting replaced
Let's just hope they dont mess with "Simply Ravishing" (btw, does anyone know when Rude first used that theme? Clash 21 has an ad for Slam Jam using that song, but the song he comes out to on the show, unless it was replaced, is different).

When WWE launched the Network in 2014, those songs were dubbed over because of a lawsuit filed by Jimmy Papa, who co-wrote them with Michael Hayes. WWE and Papa eventually settled the case out of court; I remember when a bunch of WCW PPVs vanished off the Network, only to be brought back with the original music. Now if only WWE would put Slam Jam on iTunes. But that's for another thread.

On this episode, he had Rule Britannia, or whatever the British theme was called. Nevermind, I just checked. They changed his theme to Rule Britannia and this episode was when he debuted it.

I watched A Cold Day in Hell last night
holy hell, someone edited the crap of it -- very ....interesting segment transitions, commentary cut off mid-stream, wrestlers vanish going up the ramp after their match
truly weird
