Butch Reed coming out to Jive Soul Bro is also edited out of the 4/11/1988 Prime Time Wrestling show. That sucks because if Muraco had entered first and Reed second, they could have just cut Muraco's and left Reed's alone. Depending on if Muraco was using Jesus Christ Superstar as his entrance music. Truth is, I think a lot of the PTW edits are actually just reposts of 24/7 broadcasts, before they had cleared up rights to Jive Soul Bro et al. Too much work and money to go back and fix now I suppose.

Reed entered first, so if they kept the video of his entrance and cut out Muraco's, it would look like Muraco was backstage one second and in the ring the next. Had Muraco entered first followed by Reed, that wouldn't have been an issue.

Just got the classics on demand version of 4/18/1988 Prime Time Wrestling. On the COD version Muraco & Bigelow's as well as One Man Gang and Butch Reeds entrances are all in tact on the opening match. Also both segments the Bravo interview and the Rick Rude segments are also in tact. Only thing missing on the COD version are the "On Tour" segments and the credits which again I have no idea why they removed that as it caused a little of banter between Monsoon and Heenan to be cut.

Actually during the early days of Classics on Demand (Then known as 24-7) they would do stuff like that and put a "WWE Fast Forward" graphic. The heels would go to the ring and then instead of overdubbing Hulk Hogan's "Eye of the Tiger" with "Real American" they'd show a graphic with sound effect that said "WWE Fast Forward" and then it would skip to after Hogan's music was playing.

On Raw 396 (Dec. 25, 2000), the Y2J countdown during the opening segment was added in post-production, and that's how it is shown on the Network. On the "Before They Were Superstars" DVD from 2002, the segment is shown as it happened in the arena, where Angle is just interrupted by Jericho's song starting, not the countdown.
Also, Ross and Lawler's commentary is different during Jericho's entrance in the edited, TV version used on the Network vs. the unedited version on the DVD:
Edited version shown on TV and WWE Network
Lawler: What is he doing out here? Why would Jericho come out here on Christmas night of all times?
JR: Well, I don't know, but I got a feeling we're about to find out.
Unedited version shown on DVD
JR: Enough of the "Winter Wonderland." I think "Y2J" Chris Jericho apparently has heard enough as well.
Lawler: How can Chris Jericho have the audacity to come out here on Christmas and interrupt one of the most famous Christmas carols of all time? What is he, some kind of Scrooge?
JR: You want him to wear one of those goofy hats?

On the Prime Time Wrestling June 13th 1988 episode not only is "The Rock" Don Muraco's entrance removed and his post match celebration but also turns out that they removed The Rougeau Brothers and Sam Houston's entrance and celebration.

The Network is showing it how it aired while the DVD from 2002 I mentioned shows the segment the way it was taped.

The Nov. 1991 Clash of the Champions show now has the Z-Man vs. Diamond Studd match that was previously not included on the Network. Missy Hyatt's interview with Marcus Bagwell (his TV debut) is still missing, though.
They've also fixed the Midnight Express vs. Russian Assassins match on the Feb. 1989 Clash so that the finish is now shown. Previously, the ending was just not on the video.

On the late 1986 episodes of Prime Time Wrestling the Outback Jack vignettes are heavily edited. Haven't checked 1987 yet.

Finally got a hold of the USA Network original broadcast of Prime Time Wrestling 2-29-1988. Ken Patera & Demolition Axe's entrances are edited off the Network version and also not only do they edit out Rick Rude's entrance but after the match he's posing to his music for a while and then Koko B Ware comes in and attacks Ravishing Rick Rude and knocks him out of the ring and Koko then celebrates with his music playing. All of that is edited off the Network version.

Wonder if Bagwell being cut had anything to do with precautions or the start of precautions before the lawsuit was dropped?

No, the Bagwell interview has been missing ever since this Clash show was put on the Network, I believe in late-2014.

On Starrcade 1997, Gene Okerlund's hotline plug before his interview with JJ Dillion is intact, and Goldberg enters to his original theme. I believe when the show was originally uploaded in 2014, it didn't have the hotline plug, and Goldberg had the WWE version of his music.

Do you know if they have the original three-count as it aired, or the sped up Home Video version?

Non-edit: The 2/18/89 episode of World Championship Wrestling keeps in a TBS station ID strangely enough.

Some Wrestlemania 5 edits. Interestingly they did not edit the Brother Love segment with Piper and Morton Downey Jr. as that segment was heavily edited on the WWE Wrestlemania Anthology and I'm pretty sure it was also heavily edited on the coliseum video release.
Howard Finkel announcing Jesse Ventura during Monsoon's surprise as "One of the all time great WWF Superstars" is overdubbed because of the word "WWF" which I find annoying since they already settled with the world wildlife fund.
Finkel screws up when announcing King Haku as "King Tonga". This was edited on the coliseum video version as well as the Anthology. I'm not sure if this was edited on the VHS Legacy release.
The biggest edit is Rockin Robbin's "America The Beautiful", she completely botched it on the original and they cut to Gorilla and Jesse who hype the upcoming show and then they go back to Fink who says "We apologize for the technical difficulties" and then Rockin Robin attempts it again. On the Network version they edit out 1) Rockin Robin's first take 2) Monsoon and Jesse opening the show and 3) Fink apologizing for technical difficulties. Instead they edit all that and when Fink announces Rockin Robin they fade to Robin's 2nd take.

On the Coliseum Video version, they actually replace the audio of Fink's introduction of Haku with his intro from the 1989 Royal Rumble. The original upload of the show to the Network in 2014 had the same edit to Piper's Pit that the 2005 DVD had where Brother Love just vanishes. The missing part was added later. The edit to Fink's intro of Jesse is the same on the 2005 DVD. They actually just removed "WWF" and moved up the rest so there's no silence where "WWF" was. I believe the brief pause after Fink says "major Hollywood star" wasn't there originally.

You are correct. There's about a second of fake crowd noise to make up for the time with "WWF" being missing. It really sounds edited.
