Okay can anybody tell me what song this is. It's from the 8-18-1986 Prime Time Wrestling. They use a different song on the Network version but this is a pretty cool 80's rock riff. youtu.be/7fFxq9dKIvs

After King Tonga slams Big John Studd there's an instant replay with Bruno Sammartino and Vince McMahon commentary. This is edited out on the Network version of 6/16/1986 Prime Time Wrestling

After the first half of Tony Garea vs Iron Mike Sharpe match on the 6/16/1986 match they edit out a little bit of Monsoon as he says "We're going to be back with the exciting conclusion of this match" and then they edit out some of Monsoon as it jumps to "We'll be back" and they fade out to the graphics which does not happen in the original broadcast.

The end of Tito Santana's interview with Ken Resnick is edited out of the 6/23/1986 episode of Prime Time Wrestling. In the original broadcast the interview ends as he starts talking over the Gloria Esteffan song "Conga" so that is obviously why it's edited out. At the end of the part that airs you can hear music drowning out the few seconds of the "Conga" riff play.

Lots of edits on the 8/18/1986 Prime Time Wrestling. All of the matches except the first match has footage edited out of the post match celebrations and the instant replay is also edited out. Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat & Junkyard Dog's entrance and the very beginning of their match against Muraco & Mr. Fuji has been edited out. After the ref raised Steamboat & JYD's hand Queen's "Another One Bites The Dust" plays as they dance around. This has been edited off the Network version as well.

Intro/Outro theme has been changed with generic music for the Mid Atlantic shows just added. They did not change the theme when it aired on Classics on Demand.

the november 16, 2009 of raw has empire state of mind edited off the MSG highlights video with some bumper garbage. They also edited off Black eyed Eyes Peas, "boom boom" song with a instrumental dub thats not off of the song.

The closing credits, though, have new music dubbed in rather than just completely removing them.

Right but the Vinyl and the Cassette had an instrumental version on the B side. I think this is probably the instrumental version.

My guess is since occasionally on Prime Time Wrestling matches would be joined in progress people would think that these matches without the entrances were also joined in progress and not notice it. Hey it worked! Nobody mentioned it in this entire thread until 50 pages in!

The credits on the 6/9/1986 Prime Time Wrestling Original Broadcast are 53 seconds, the credits on the Network Version are 49 seconds. I went through it to see what was missing and the Network version fades out 4 seconds early. I wonder if the reason for this is so the generic music can fit easier.

So I was very confused when watching the Network version of 7/21/86 Prime Time Wrestling because you could tell by the way they jump to the British Bulldogs match that there was an edit which didn't make sense to me because the Bulldogs theme was never edited by WWE.
Just got a copy of the original broadcast of 7/21/1986 Prime Time Wrestling and wow I guess you learn something new everyday. On the original broadcast The British Bulldogs come out with Lou Albano to "Lovin' Every Minute Of It" by Loverboy! Interesting! Never knew they had a different theme song, which had to have lasted a very short time.

Now, can anyone recall what the Killer Bees' theme was? They too briefly used an entrance song.

Interesting on the credits of the 6/30/1986 Prime Time Wrestling on the Original Broadcast you can still hear Monsoon and Heenan having a heated argument even though music is playing under it, unfortunately on the Network version you can't hear it at all as the audio has replaced with generic music. ):

I was browsing youtube one time and I think the Killer Bees at one time used Loverboy's "The Kid is Hot tonight"
